so a couple months ago, I was changing my security type of my internet from WPA to WEP (why? well, nintendo never bothered to put WPA internet systems on original DS cartridges).

Everything that I have (galaxy s3, xbox 360, the computer im using, and 3ds w/ ds compability) connects perfectly except for my laptop. I tried to connect the laptop to my router, and for some reason it just won't connect, even though it shows my router available, it wont connect.

I know there are computer techies in this website somewhere, so can you guys help me?

and do you think it's possible that my laptop could only run WPA security type?

im using HP Pavillion Dv7 Entertainment PC. Some answers would be appreciated!

From my experience, Pavillion's can be somewhat picky, but usually like WPA, that said, every computer's a little different.

hmm... Well I think i may have found something on the HP website, but if it don't work, then I try changing security to WPA and see what happens.
