I want a good surround sound pc headset that has a good microphone. i dont care about price. what is your suggestion from experience?

I recommend Turtle Beach. Their headsets are designed for gamers, with really awesome headsets. I have an x12 that I use frequently; spent $60 on it. It isn't surround sound, but if that's what you want check out: http://www.turtlebeach.com/products/headsets

 

It has a workable list of headsets for different systems, (From Xbox to PC), prices, features and the lot. The surround sound stuff is pretty expensive; it looked like a lot of the good ones were $200+.

i was looking on best buy for turtle beach but all i could find were 360 headsets, thanks for the page

Those 360 headsets are also compatible with PC. My x12 is made for the Xbox, but doubles as a PC headset too.
