._. A Soul. The thing that drives us, lets us think, feel, comprehend and feel. A heart holds the emotions itself, but interpreting them is the work of a soul. A soul shows personality, history, memory's, it's a representation of our pasts and futures. Soul's connect to each-other, sometimes in bad blood, sometimes in love. But when someone special comes along that can see the fragile thing that holds us together known as a "Soul", what will they do with that power? Some can see things, others can feel. Most of them are called "Psychic"'s and "Spiritualist"'s, but they're powers are different from those who we follow in this story; our protagonist's are called Seer's, they can see-and even interact if they are skilled enough- with the soul's of living beings.

Name: Raze Dell

Appearance: About 6"3', orange, curly hair that he keeps pushed upward to look kinda like spikes, often found wearing a flannel or graphic tee and dark-colored jeans. Wears black and blue High-Top DC's, has dark brown-almost-black eyes, slightly muscular.

Age: 17

Weapons of choice: dual-wielding blades, preferably a rapure and a katana or claymore.

Unique Skill(Other than soul perception): Avid and skilled fighter in most mediums of combat.

Bio: As a boy, he was treated like a robot servant, in a sense, often ordered to do many things beyond his skill level by his family, and many people were pretenders to him as a child. He didn't start realizing it till he was about the age of twelve. He was often bullied until high school, but during that time beforehand he somehow developed the ability to see soul's and became what is to be called a "Seer" during this time, and learned to use the ability to protect himself from others by exploiting their weaknesses, but since his eight-grade year he hasn't used the ability to do so, and now just stares at other people's soul's and examine them.

 

 

SOUL INFORMATION KNOWN SO FAR.

 

Soul's seen by other people are different due to a person's state of mind, view on the world, ECT., but generally despite the fact that the way they are seen is different, the definition of a soul is often seen as the same. (I.E., I see a soul as orange, which to me means that the person is very shy and not very outgoing or energetic, but you see it as purple, but it means the same thing as orange means to me, ect.)

 

Soul's have multiple shapes, this changes with a person's state of mind as well, but the shape dose have a general pattern which affects it's true definition. it follows:

 

Common

Looks like an orb-ish object, but has a large amount of "Spikes" that jet out of it and extend upon contact with someone new for reasons unknown as to now.

 

Uncommon(Shimmering)

They have a shape similar to a Common, but the spikes lie in a sub-level and a form of self-view appears over it(It makes a slight face-like covering that doesn't look like a human face[if that makes any sense]but what someone see's themselves as. They have an odd glow/shimmer to them.

 

Rare(Sparkling/Stainless)

Similar to Uncommon, they hold a self-view and color over the top of the actual soul, but they give off a sense of energy or power to them. They often are more noble/smart/specially talented and don't often bond with people too well

 

Dangerous

The base of the soul is completely flat, the color you receive is often dull or barely there at all. They are very unfriendly, extremely unstable and can break at any moment. Dangerous soul's can turn into Damaged soul's if too much stress when trying to bring them back to a stable state.

 

Damaged

Damaged soul's are of those who have lost their humanity, who have either willingly or unwillingly turned insane and homicidal, genocidal, or outright want to kill for no good reason. If a Soul of any kind becomes Damaged, it is extremely dangerous to be around as it's a ticking time-bomb. It's best to put them down immediately, if possible.

 

Compressed

Soul's that are like Damaged ones, only they have become like this due to constant abuse and pain. Their body's and minds are too fragile to withstand killing someone though, unless they become Damaged afterwards. This soulshape is one people who preform heinous acts, like school shootings often take on and are normally rare though. Only the weakest of soul's become Compressed, and weakest of weak become Damaged as well. Dangerous, Damaged, and Compressed soul's all lack the "Spikes" average soul's have and almost never bond to others, if they ever do.

 

Some humans lack soul's, or their soul response is very weak or too small for you to see. They behave like Common's normally, though. Their soul's, if they do have one, are abnormally strong despite a large signal or size.

 

Let the RP Begin.

It seemed the house was empty, the lights in the area were off, but in a flash, the sound of the metal door to the shop closing was made... Recalbul sat in it's stand above the bed Rini sat in...

Rini sighed. She guessed Raze and his friend were gone. She took Recalbul, and headed downstairs in the shop.

Raze's voice was starting to carry through the area, but quietly. "Come on. You know you still owe me for Russia and the Gryphion." It whispered. Reiaz countered. "I know, but its a bit much for me, what you're asking me!" Raze responded "you would have been stew." Reiaz sighed, and the walked to the back area, and to Raze's room...

"Sorry I ended up here again!" She said rather quickly, bowing.

"Don't be sorry, I brought you here as a guest, since you needed to rest. The things that attacked us were a form of incubi and succubi that sucked away people's soul's after luring them into a state of security or extreme exhaustion or non-conscious thought. After we got rid of them, the people who were acting as their agents had their soul's return. Three causality's total, including the teacher, one person in the chamber we were in, and Mrs. May, my nurse and suraget mother." Raze explained. Reiaz added in "Imagine my surprise when I see Raze carrying you out of that building and then holding Recalbul in his hand up to my neck!" He exclaimed. "But that's alright, I suppose..." Reiaz sighed. Raze started again. "And I've asked Reiaz to allow you to stay here, if you should wish. I would prefer it, myself, since I don't know how safe your home is." Raze said, then adding on "I would also like to ask you to join me in working on cases. You see, I investigate paranormal happenings and monsters, a monster hunter, so to speak. It's not an easy job, and your courage and help made this one a snap." He walked over and gave her a hug. "And that is me returning the hug from earlier. Yes I'm trying to butter you up a little..." Reiaz laughed. "Who are you tryin' to fool? You obviously got a thing for her." Raze just punched him in the arm and blushed. "Well, come on, she's cute, small, and she knows magic. What more do you need to crush on her?" Raze just punched him in the arm again...

"I'll be honored to help you, Raze. I've always been interested myself by stuff like that." She said.

She tried hiding it by looking down, but Rini was blushing a bit.

"Then we should go OK this with your parents." Raze declared, moving out to th front again, and grabbing the keys he used off the rack. "Come on now, we do need to be off to bed soon. We've got a lot to do in the morning."

"Okay, then that's our next stop." Raze said, leading Rini to his car: a Subaru Impreza, two door, year 2000 model. As they drove, they went in slight silence. "I guess you saw my video will, did you not?" Raze finally asked after a while.

"Yes. I did. You barely know me and put me on your will so to say." She said seriously, turning to Raze.

(Edit 2: now I have Raze done, he looks a little funny(still developing a good artstyle for humans) but I think he turned out OK. I'll retry Rini later from a different POV to make her look better, and then I'll do Reiaz later.

She looked at Raze with a dark gaze.

"Okay..." Raze muttered. They drove quickly, like a flash, they had returned home, and Raze showed Rini her room, small, basic at this time, much like Raze's. "Not much, I know... But that's what we got for now." He chuckled with an empty tone. Shrugging it off, he turned around and sighed. "It's been a day.. I'll let you rest, Rini." He muttered, starting to walk away.

"Wait Raze!" Rini called.

She changed out of her normal clothes and wearing her black tank-top and some white shorts. She soon fell asleep.

"Good night." He muttered, walking away. He went to the front and finished writting a report of the incident, then photocopyed it and sent it to Jeremy and Kiro. Next, he filed it away, double checked the locks on the doors, and walked back to Rini's room, she was surely asleep, but Reiaz sure wasn't. "You really do have a thing for the cutie, don't you?" He looked Raze in the eyes, he blushed furiously and looked away. "N-No. I-I barely know her, anyway..." He muttered. "Come on, Raze, its as plain as day that you like her, even if its just her appea-" Reiaz didn't get to finish his sentence, as Raze punched him hard enough to knock him out, he then picked him up and dragged him to his room, which was the one right next to Rini's and opened his peep hole, placing his face up against it. "You know not to annoy me Reiaz..." He thought, leaving Reiaz's room and returning to his own.

 

Weeks past, time flew. The school stayed closed due to the massive piles of dead bodies piled up in there, all from a defiled graveyard, being everywhere, and the caseload was nothing too major, just little things like little kids with some magic powers running a muck and other easy to stop stuff. Rini and Raze worked together as a team very well on all of these, until a large case came up.

 

11:06, Candlelights, Major Case II: Hunt for the what!?

 

"Well, I'm sure it's magical doing, and of a powerful kind." Reiaz declared, starring at the map he had up on the wall, showing the points of intrest. "Simple stuff, but each time, there is one common thing: the men are bewitched by a beautiful girl, she toys with them for an hour and convinces them to steal something for her and then the moment she gets what she wants, vanishes into thin air." Reiaz backed up his theory with evidence.

 

"Yeah, but, all these men are married, thirty-two year olds and lack memories of stealing said item, or this alluring girl save a few minor details, and from their discriptions she is a teenager, about my age." Raze argued. "I doubt that many married men of 32 want a girltoy who isn't within her age..." He muttered. "I don't know, man..." Reiaz muttered.

"Not entirely sure, Rini. It could be the creatures we fought when we first met, an amateur witch, or a plethora of other things, but what we know do far-" Raze was interrupted by Reiaz. "The culprit is a teen female, somewhere near Raze's age, supposedly drop dead gorgeous, but her actual phisical appearance seems to be diffrent every time, save they always are heterochromius, meaning whatever it s has different colored eyes, and she legitimately vanishes after she gets what she wants."Raze added "Or in lamens terms, a hot 16-18 year old girl with two different irisis who happens to be a supernatural gold digger."
