._. A Soul. The thing that drives us, lets us think, feel, comprehend and feel. A heart holds the emotions itself, but interpreting them is the work of a soul. A soul shows personality, history, memory's, it's a representation of our pasts and futures. Soul's connect to each-other, sometimes in bad blood, sometimes in love. But when someone special comes along that can see the fragile thing that holds us together known as a "Soul", what will they do with that power? Some can see things, others can feel. Most of them are called "Psychic"'s and "Spiritualist"'s, but they're powers are different from those who we follow in this story; our protagonist's are called Seer's, they can see-and even interact if they are skilled enough- with the soul's of living beings.

Name: Raze Dell

Appearance: About 6"3', orange, curly hair that he keeps pushed upward to look kinda like spikes, often found wearing a flannel or graphic tee and dark-colored jeans. Wears black and blue High-Top DC's, has dark brown-almost-black eyes, slightly muscular.

Age: 17

Weapons of choice: dual-wielding blades, preferably a rapure and a katana or claymore.

Unique Skill(Other than soul perception): Avid and skilled fighter in most mediums of combat.

Bio: As a boy, he was treated like a robot servant, in a sense, often ordered to do many things beyond his skill level by his family, and many people were pretenders to him as a child. He didn't start realizing it till he was about the age of twelve. He was often bullied until high school, but during that time beforehand he somehow developed the ability to see soul's and became what is to be called a "Seer" during this time, and learned to use the ability to protect himself from others by exploiting their weaknesses, but since his eight-grade year he hasn't used the ability to do so, and now just stares at other people's soul's and examine them.

 

 

SOUL INFORMATION KNOWN SO FAR.

 

Soul's seen by other people are different due to a person's state of mind, view on the world, ECT., but generally despite the fact that the way they are seen is different, the definition of a soul is often seen as the same. (I.E., I see a soul as orange, which to me means that the person is very shy and not very outgoing or energetic, but you see it as purple, but it means the same thing as orange means to me, ect.)

 

Soul's have multiple shapes, this changes with a person's state of mind as well, but the shape dose have a general pattern which affects it's true definition. it follows:

 

Common

Looks like an orb-ish object, but has a large amount of "Spikes" that jet out of it and extend upon contact with someone new for reasons unknown as to now.

 

Uncommon(Shimmering)

They have a shape similar to a Common, but the spikes lie in a sub-level and a form of self-view appears over it(It makes a slight face-like covering that doesn't look like a human face[if that makes any sense]but what someone see's themselves as. They have an odd glow/shimmer to them.

 

Rare(Sparkling/Stainless)

Similar to Uncommon, they hold a self-view and color over the top of the actual soul, but they give off a sense of energy or power to them. They often are more noble/smart/specially talented and don't often bond with people too well

 

Dangerous

The base of the soul is completely flat, the color you receive is often dull or barely there at all. They are very unfriendly, extremely unstable and can break at any moment. Dangerous soul's can turn into Damaged soul's if too much stress when trying to bring them back to a stable state.

 

Damaged

Damaged soul's are of those who have lost their humanity, who have either willingly or unwillingly turned insane and homicidal, genocidal, or outright want to kill for no good reason. If a Soul of any kind becomes Damaged, it is extremely dangerous to be around as it's a ticking time-bomb. It's best to put them down immediately, if possible.

 

Compressed

Soul's that are like Damaged ones, only they have become like this due to constant abuse and pain. Their body's and minds are too fragile to withstand killing someone though, unless they become Damaged afterwards. This soulshape is one people who preform heinous acts, like school shootings often take on and are normally rare though. Only the weakest of soul's become Compressed, and weakest of weak become Damaged as well. Dangerous, Damaged, and Compressed soul's all lack the "Spikes" average soul's have and almost never bond to others, if they ever do.

 

Some humans lack soul's, or their soul response is very weak or too small for you to see. They behave like Common's normally, though. Their soul's, if they do have one, are abnormally strong despite a large signal or size.

Rini looked at Raze and smirked.

"She should be able to see us, unless she is blind in her odd-colored eye." She said, looking at Raze.

"Quite possibly..." Raze thought for a moment. "Maybe we should investigate at the scenes of the crime." He said, Reiaz shook his head. "Places are still cop-tied. Only Kiro or Jeremy could investigate." "Damn..." Was all Raze muttered. Suddenly, a new report came in. "Woman in case 8675309 supposedly seen tonight, this time reported with cat-like ears and tale. Likely a costume to make her seem innocent or something. Be advised for a woman matching any of the discriptions and with a tale and ears of that nature." The poliece scanner had fuzz again after that."I think I know what it is." Raze snapped. "Do tell." Reiaz gestured to Raze. "It may be a magic cat." He said, Reiaz burst into laughter. "Y-You mean like Blair from Soul Eater or something!? Ha ha!" He fell on the floor and laughed like a madman. "Previously, there have been occourances where there are creatures able to change their form, and in truth, it happens to all kinds of things, from cats to humans. It's possible that either its a cat or a human that prefers the other form." Reiaz stopped laughing and sat up. "Your serious. You think we're dealing with a magic cat." Reiaz sighed. "What do you think, Rini?" He asked.

"It couldn't be a magic cat. I mean look at me for example, I have these cat ears, but no tail." RIni said, pulling up her hood.

"Good point..." Raze muttered. "We're sure its not you, if your thinking that. These cases occour around times we're around each-other. You wouldn't have time to do it. And as far as we know, you only know ice magic and can't sneak any of Reiaz's cards." He then added "but we don't know if it is or isn't, for sure. I'm keeping the possibility open just in case." Raze closed the book of creatures he was had out when a tingle came from the shop's door bell. A little girl, no more than ten with tattered rags serving as clothes and a patched-up beanie on her head walked in, and passed out...

Rini stepped back, looking at the little girl. She looked at Reiaz, and they were all shocked.

"This can't be good, can it?" she said, walking towards her.

"We need to help her." Rini declared.

"Take her to my room, I'll get a healing spell and meet you all there." Raze said, rushing off, Reiaz grabbed her. "Lock the doors and change the sign, then come help." He said, rushing off.

Rini nodded, rushing to the door and quickly locking it. She changed the sign and locked the remaining doors that lead outside. She headed upstairs to Raze's room.

"Do you think there is something up there?" she asked Reiaz.

"No, she needs a place to rest though." He muttered, setting the girl down, Raze came in moments later with a card with a red cross on it. Holding it out, and then looking at the little girl, she glowed for a moment, then it stopped, and she slightly stirred, then sat up, then yawned. "Hello, hon. Are you OK?" Reiaz asked, the girl shyed away and instead inched to the back of the bed. "Reiaz, she just woke up and dosent know what's going on, let her settle in first." Raze said, looking at the girl, he spoke. "Hey... You passed out on our floor after you entered our shop. I know this is weird and all, but so that we can get things settled, could you tell us your name?" He asked, but the little girl stared at him for a moment before finally saying "Daddy?" To him. Raze only had a puzzled look on his face when she cried out "Daddy!" Before tackling him onto the ground. "H-Hey!" Raze called out.

"We don't jump onto people, okay?" she said seriously to her.

"What is you're name? You can trust us, okay? We are not bad guys." Rini said seriously.

The girl dangled for a moment before wriggling out of Rini's grip, falling back onto Raze. She hugged him like a child would their father. "Daddy!" She cried out, Raze wrestling her grip off a bit, he was able to pick himself up, but the girl didn't let go. "She thinks I'm her father..." Raze thought, with a sigh. "Okay, look, I'm not your dad..." Raze began trying to explain. "Of course you are!". She cried out. "You smell like mom told me you would, and you have: vanilla and lavender!" She yelled. "And your voice sounds just like what she described, too..." She muttered. Reiaz stood up, and looked at the little girl a mere moment, then at Raze. "She's you're daughter, Raze. Her aura is too similar and its energy resonates with yours highly, which can't be a coincidence." He said, full confidence in his voice. "But I would have had to have been like... Six when she was conceived! It's not possible..." Raze muttered.

Rini looked at Reiaz.

"Raze is right, there is no way possible." she snapped.

"And who would the mother had been?" Rini asked.

"Well, it's true. I'm certain thatif we ran a DNA kit, they would come up pretty close." Reiaz stated. "I'm also certaian that there was no legitimate mother, in this case... I think I know, but I need to research. Be back in a few hours." He muttered the last part, then hurried out the door, the little girl backed off of Raze a small bit, just enough so he could look at him. "You know, he's got a funky looking little ball in his chest, like a lot of people. Mama said you knew what that was, and I wanted to meet you, so I came and found you!" She said, a smile on her face.

"Well, since you found your father, you can at least tell us your name." Rini said seriously.

"I am Rini, one of your fathers friends." she introduced.

"I uh... I don't think I have a name!" She laughed. "Never needed one!" Raze was just in too much shock to even react at this moment to anything.

"Oh... Uh... I dunno. Do I really need one?" She asked.Inside Raze's head, he was freaking out. "I have a kid!? I'm not ready for a kid! I don't even know who the mom is! Or how she was made! I never did it with no one! How is this happening?!" Phisically, Raze was absolutely frozen nd giving of a slight cold sweat...

"You need a name, everyone does. What about Aya? That's a cute name." Rini suggested.

She then looked to Raze.

"Are you okay, Raze?" she asked.

Raze was like a stone statue, he had barely even breathed out since Reiaz confirmed it. "If I need a name I want my daddy or mommie to give it to me!" She yelled. Finally, Raze snapped out of it, going full-father mode in the process. "It's okay, honey..." He whispered, holding his child like an average father would a twelve year old giving then a full-on hug. "I think Aya is a pretty name." He told her. The girl smiled. "Then I'm fine with Aya for now!" She giggled a little.

"Okay then Aya..." Rini muttered.

Aya was being very rude to Rini, but she would have to deal with it. Because if Raze did have a child, Rini would still be around. 

"What should we do Raze?" she asked.

"Well... I gotta get her a room to stay in... Maybe find her mom... Wait, where did Reiaz go? He asked, just now noticing Reiaz's departure.

"Is that so?" He said, looking at the little girl. "We're gonna go find your mom, OK? I want you to stay here, it could be a bit dangerous." Raze said, pulling Aya off of himself and putting her down on his bed, but she then said "no! I wanna go, too! I wanna see mama's face when you find her!" She got off of Raze's bed and went to the door. Raze sighed. "Strong willed and won't take "no" as an answer... Darn you take after me a lot..." He muttered, thinking for a moment, cursing in a whisper, he spoke. "Okay, fine, you can come, but we need to get you some clothes, first... Rini, I hate to ask you to, but could you take her shopping for outfits?" Raze asked, but Aya shook her head. "I want you to take me!" She yelled. Raze sighed. "Look... I can't take you into the shop, I would be getting weird looks or have cops called on me. Rini is a girl, they won't call the cops on her if they saw you two out there together." He said, looking Aya in the eyes. She just crossed her arms and frouned, spitting out a small "...Fine..." Before exiting the room. "Sorry, Rini..."

"I'm not that mean Aya." Rini said seriously, grabbing the girls hand.

"We won't be gone too long." She said, walking out the door with Aya.
