Illusions {A 1x1 between Silver Kuroi and Neko-chan}

Posted

Castelia City, the crown of the Unova region. It is a fine city with great business...until that business started getting a little dark in one part of the City.

The call themselves Team Void, and they capture Pokémon, force them to fight until knocked out, then sell them.

They just so happened to find a Zorua one day, and of course they had to catch it. However, this Zorua was very clever, and managed to escape before she could be sold.

This same Zorua was found by a girl once, and taken to her grandfathers shop located within one of the alley ways of Castelia, however, the girl left without Zorua knowing.

To this day, Zorua stays in the shop in a small cage, waiting for something....a trainer to come by one day and get her....or she go and find this trainer.

Usual Illusion appearance, that is actually a teenage girl- Zorua is a rather short in her human form, she is rather pale with a normal sized bust and is rather slim. Her eyes are a bright, light blue. Zorua has dark grey hair that is basically black. It is just past her waist and has red highlights near the bottom of her hair. In her human form, Zorua always wears fake wolf ears...or so it seems. Those are actually her real Pokemon ears, but she always says they are fake. Zorua wears a dark red tank-top and a black blouse with short sleeves. Zorua likes to wear a slate-grey jacket, however she never actually wears the thing properly, she always has the top part of her jacket at her elbows, making her hood hang out where her mid-back is. This position makes her sleeves look longer, and to her, it makes her look cuter. She wears a black skirt and black tights with red slip-on shoes.

Extra- Zorua prefers to keep her past to herself, however she will tell some people some things.

Go ahead, Silver.

I shall start then~

Silence filled the small shop once more as that big family left. Zorua didn't make a peep, sure she could communicate with people though this "telepathy" stuff, but she has never wanted to talk with the owner. Speaking of the owner, he was actually looking at her, which is a bit creepy. Zorua got out of her sitting position and started looking at him, pawing at the cages door.

"Zoru..." She plead.

"Oh Zorua, if you look at me like that then I will have no other choice but to let you out!" The man said.

"Zorua?" The pokemon asked him.

The man sighed, then opened the cage, and the Zorua quickly leapt out, giggling.

"Come and catch me~" She taunted, then using her illusion ability and transforming into what that girl who saved her before was wearing. However, her tail and ears were still there.

"Zorua!" The man exclaimed, running after the Pokémon.

Zorua managed to get out of the shop before he actually could catch her. Zorua quickly ran out of the alley, and into the streets, people and Pokémon looking at her, a bit concerned.

The Pokémon didn't say a single word, only transforming into a nearby Minccino and running off. Nobody would ever suspect.

Hasori smiled to himself, eyes closed as he listened to the near-hypnotic lyrics of his song. A recent hit in Castelia--the song had hit #1 and stayed there for the past month. The teen began to hum the lyrics to himself as he walked down one of Castela City's busiest streets, letting the music add a special beat and hop to his step.

"Enh?" Hasori grunted, opening an eye. Before him was a rather agitated Minccino, and had the appearance that she had been running from something. "Well, that's weird." Hasori mumbled, "Where's your trainer?" He asked, kneeling down a bit. A few people shouted insults at him for blocking the sidewalk, but Hasori blocked them out with his tunes.

Take a bow to the moon.

Great, She had been discovered. Zorua looked up to this boy and changed into her illusion-human, then crossing her arms.

"What do you mean TRAINER? I don't need a trainer." Zorua said in her own defense.

"Where is YOUR trainer? My trainer is mean, so I ran away, and you are in my way." She snapped.

Zorua observed this boy for a couple of seconds.

"And if I were you, I'd turn your music down!" She yelled at him.

Only this boy could hear her right now, thanks to the wonderful telepathy she had.

"We should probably move too." She suddenly realized we were blocking peoples path.

Hasori blinked. How could he hear her? First off....how did that Pokemon become a -definitely cute-looking- girl?!

"What." Hasori said, his mind running through things one at a time. First the transformation. That was new. Never seen that before. Next was a reply to her remark: "I don't need a trainer. I'm human. Dummy."

Now, was how he could hear her. His song had already switched to another song, and here could hear both her voice and his song.

Smiling, the gods of dreams and fantasy elegantly impart death, while the chains of karma, which dictates time and space, are becoming tangled.

"Riiiight. You're gonna need to explain this.." Hasori mumbled, moving to the edge of the sidewalk.

(FANTASY MYTHOLOGY! I also changed to third-person, first person is annoying.)

Zorua sighed upon hearing this, staring at Hasori.

"You don't know a lot about Pokémon, do you?" She asked.

She finally changed back to her true form.

"I am a Zorua, Zorua can take the appearance of things, however it is really only an illusion." Zorua explained.

"Anyway, I need out of here before he finds me again!" She yelled, leaping up on Hasori's shoulder.

"Come on, hurry up!"

(I put up the English translations and you still find that out?)

What had Hasori gotten himself into? He just wanted to take a nice walk--spend the weekend well before returning to his Uncle's apartment. But no, it seems now he has something else to deal with. "Right.." He mumbled, walking off. If someone was chasing the Zorua, Hasori knew how to react: by looking as calm as possible. Hasori turned his music back up, enjoying the sound as he headed back for his Uncle's place.

"I'll take you to my uncle's place. How 'bout that?"

  • Author

(That was my first Japanese song. I love it.)

"Is your uncle nice? If he is, then sure!" Zorua said with a smile.

"Wait, what is your name anyway? I'm Zorua, and the people after me are called Team Void, they are REAALLLYYY mean people!" She exclaimed.

She then realized that Hasori had been listening to music, which made Zorua fall silent and start listening as well.

The bystanders, while pitying us,were even farther away than the life or death we longed for.In a tiny garden at the end of the ends,I believed thatthere would be a boundless miracle.

Harosi sighed, letting the song end. He took off his earphones, glancing at the Zorua. "Listening in, huh?" Hasori asked her, raising a brow as they walked, "My name is Hasori, by the way. Hasori Ukitake." Hasori eventually reached a tall apartment building, punching in the number to unlock the door to allow himself access into the building.

"Hasori? Okay Hasori! Nice too meet you!" Zorua exclaimed, looking at him and smiling.

She leapt off his shoulder and changed into the illusion-human form.

"This is just an illusion, yet it will work. I kinda like it. Do you like it Harosi?" she asked.

She then realized something, she didn't have a proper name.

"Um...Hasori. If you have a name...I need a name too! I don't need people thinking I am Zorua!" Zorua exclaimed, looking at him.

"Can you please choose out a name for me?" she plead.

Hasori looked away, smiling a bit. That human form was too cute for him. It took all his will to stop himself from squealing and loving her petite size and overall cuteness. He was a man, a teen at that, and so doing so would ruin any reputation he might have.

"Yeah...um...I like it. A name? Uh....god." Hasori mumbled, wracking his brain for some idea, "Sakkaku? Or Sakka, if you want. It means Illusion."

  • Author

"Sakkaku! Okay!" Zorua exclaimed, looking at Hasori with a smile.

"Let's go!" She said eagerly, grabbing ahold of Hasori's arm and trying to pull him along.

"Wait...where is your house?" Zorua asked him.

"We have to go up an elevator." Hasori replied, "My uncle's apartment is on one of the highest floors."

With Zorua's hand still faithfully latched onto his arm, he lead her to one of the elevators, and quickly pressed the upwards-facing triangle button. A ding sounded, and one of the elevator doors slid open with a quiet hiss.

"You ever ridden an elevator before?" Hasori asked, glancing at Zorua as he pulled her along inside.

  • Author

Zorua shook her head.

"Nope." she said, looking at Hasori.

"Is this how you get waaayyy up to the top of this building?" She asked him.

Hasori nodded, "Yeah, this is the way up. They are stairs, but no one uses them since elevators are that much easier." He said, pressing the top button -the highest floor- and soon the elevator made a clunk sound as it rose up into the building.

As they went, the glass sides allowed the two to see the entire cityscape of Castelia, and eventually they stopped. Having reached the top floor.

Zorua stood completely still behind Hasori.

"That was scary..." she whimpered.

She then looked at Hasori a bit worried, until the door automatically opened for the two, and Zorua ran straight out.

"I don't ever wanna go on that thing again!" Zorua yelled.

"You want to walk 20 flights of stairs just to get to the bottom?" Hasori asked, leading her down the hall to one of the doors at the end of the corridor. He rummaged into his back pocket, retrieving a small black keycard. He slid it into the available slot, waiting for the door to click open.

"Three things. One, my uncle is rather...affluent. Two, he's very very eccentric. And three, he's almost never home."

  • Author

"No...I guess I'll have to take the elevator again then..." Zorua said with a sigh.

After hearing what Hasori had to say, the door clicked open and let the two in his apartment thing.

"So your uncle isn't here? Cool!" She exclaimed, starting to look around.

Hasori nodded, letting the Zorua rush in first. The apartment itself was rather large, sitting in one corner of the apartment building; giving two whole sides to view the city. The furniture and just about everything else showed just how affluent Hasori's uncle was. The man was obviously very very rich, with expensive rugs, paintings, tables, and just about anything else. "He's some high-standing man at some big company. Which is how he affords this mess."

  • Author

"That is pretty cool..." Zorua muttered, however she really didn't care.

She was far too busy looking around the house...however after a while, she got bored with looking around.

"When will your Uncle come back?" Zorua asked Hasori.

"Really late, usually." Hasori replied, sighing as he flopped onto one of the seats, "Sometimes he doesn't come home for a day or two. Either gets held up at work for that long or gets lost. I've had to retrieve him twice when he got lost in this city....and he's been living here all his life!" Hasori said, sighing again. He felt like he was complaining about his uncle--and didn't want Zorua to suddenly have to deal with it.

"Anyways, makes yourself comfortable."

  • Author

"Mm'kay!" Zorua exclaimed, doing as Hasori said and making herself comfortable. She changed into her normal form and leaping onto Hasori's lap.

"You DID say to make myself comfortable..." she muttered.

"And that is one my lap?" Hasori asked, giving her an odd look, "Not that I mind, of course. Just wondering."

Hasori began to turn up his music again, letting the sounds flow once more. It was somewhat comforting to have the Zorua on his lap, Hasori thought, smiling a bit as he reasserted his headphones.

  • Author

"Wait, Hasori." Zorua said rather loudly, looking up at him.

"I need to tell you something!" She snapped.

"Team Void...they have been after me my entire life. Only because I am a rare Pokémon! They want to use my illusions for themself..." Zorua explained.

"Now that you found me and took me here, they will be looking for you! They will hurt you Hasori!" She yelled.

Hasori gave her a look, "We'll be fine. Just stay in your human form and they won't know a thing, right? They're looking for a Zorua, not a human girl who wears Zorua ears, right?" Hasori asked, "So just lay low and stay as you are. Make up a little background for yourself, in case someone asks. Like you're a foreign exchange student, my sister, or something else. Okay?"
