Illusions {A 1x1 between Silver Kuroi and Neko-chan}

Posted

Castelia City, the crown of the Unova region. It is a fine city with great business...until that business started getting a little dark in one part of the City.

The call themselves Team Void, and they capture Pokémon, force them to fight until knocked out, then sell them.

They just so happened to find a Zorua one day, and of course they had to catch it. However, this Zorua was very clever, and managed to escape before she could be sold.

This same Zorua was found by a girl once, and taken to her grandfathers shop located within one of the alley ways of Castelia, however, the girl left without Zorua knowing.

To this day, Zorua stays in the shop in a small cage, waiting for something....a trainer to come by one day and get her....or she go and find this trainer.

Usual Illusion appearance, that is actually a teenage girl- Zorua is a rather short in her human form, she is rather pale with a normal sized bust and is rather slim. Her eyes are a bright, light blue. Zorua has dark grey hair that is basically black. It is just past her waist and has red highlights near the bottom of her hair. In her human form, Zorua always wears fake wolf ears...or so it seems. Those are actually her real Pokemon ears, but she always says they are fake. Zorua wears a dark red tank-top and a black blouse with short sleeves. Zorua likes to wear a slate-grey jacket, however she never actually wears the thing properly, she always has the top part of her jacket at her elbows, making her hood hang out where her mid-back is. This position makes her sleeves look longer, and to her, it makes her look cuter. She wears a black skirt and black tights with red slip-on shoes.

Extra- Zorua prefers to keep her past to herself, however she will tell some people some things.

Go ahead, Silver.

"H-huh?" Hasori asked, glancing at her. What was she saying?

"What..what do you mean, Sakkaku?" He then asked, looking her up and down. She had a young, innocent expression on her face, serving to make Hasori even more confused. Was she simply stating she was fond of him, or did this correlate to what he had mentioned earlier..?

Hasori sighed, putting a hand to his face while the other held his half-eaten cone. It felt like a migraine was coming on.

(She's quite adorable! Who cares if she's a pokemon?)

"I like you Hasori!" Sakkaku said again, this time a bit louder.

"You're my big brother now and it doesn't matter who I really am. If Sakkaku likes you, Sakkaku likes you!" she exclaimed.

"You're really really nice and you've helped me a lot! I wanna be your pokemon Hasori!"Sakkaku said with a smile.

Hasori smiled. Sakkaku was way too adorable in his opinion. In both forms.

"Okay, sure. I'll be your big brother....and your trainer too, I guess." Hasori said, smiling brightly. He wasn't too sure about what Sakkaku said last, as she seemed far too different than the other Pokemon Hasori had seen. But a little sister..that made more sense to him.

"And like a big brother, I'll protect you however I can. Which only strengthens my promise to help deal with Team Void."

The Zorua smiled, hugging Hasori's side and running off towards the piers.

"Come on Hasori!" she exclaimed.

Sakkaku was obviously happy, and she hoped Hasori was too.

"I'm coming, I'm coming!" Hasori yelled, hurrying after the girl.

Soon enough, they were in the most southern part of Castelia--the massive docks and piers that jutted out from the city in multiple directions. There was a slightly salty feeling and taste to the air, as the waves crashed alongside the docks. Hasori smiled, finishing off the ice cream rather quickly.

"This is..very serene." Hasori commented, looking out from the bench they  were both sitting on.

Sakkaku finished her ice cream soon enough, staring out at the ocean.

"What kinda pokemon are in there?" she asked Hasori, pointing at the water.

"Do you have a pokemon that lives in there?" she asked.

Hasori shook his head, "No, I don't have any Pokemon that live in there. As for what does...uhm...stuff like Wailmer and Magikarp. Mostly around here, even though the city tries to be fairly green...we usually have those trash pokemon swimming around. So...all sorts of stuff." He said, giving a look at Sakkaku. Even though she was a Pokemon herself, she didn't seem too knowledgeable about other Pokemon's habitats...did Pokemon really care about that trivial stuff?

"Man...what I wouldn't give to be a Pokemon.." Hasori murmured, "Seems like life's so much easier.."

  • Author

"I hate those trash Pokémon." Sakkaku said with a sigh.

She transformed into her normal Zorua form and sat on Hasori's lap.

"Today has been rather fun..." She muttered.

"I guess you could say that." Hasori replied, wondering if being beaten by a suspicious organization constituted as 'fun', when they could have very well met their own ends. Who knew what Void has up their sleeves....

Hasori sighed. He needed to relax--stop thinking about the pressing issues. He glanced down at the Zorua on his lap, hesitating before giving her a light pat on the head. Sakkaku was adorable, human or not.

"Lets go home soon Hasori." Sakkaku said seriously, looking at her "Big Brother".

It actually was getting rather late. Zorua getting sleepy again. She didn't want this day to end however. She had gotten a little closer to Hasori, and that made the pokemon very happy.

(Oh goodness I'm so sorry for the late reply...)

"Right." Hasori said, standing up as he wiped his hands off. The two soon made their back to the apartment, where Hasori stopped just before entering. There was noises coming from inside. Hasori sighed, glancing at Sakkaku, "I think my uncle's finally home....you can tell, since he tends to make the loudest noises possible."

Hasori looked back at the door, somewhat afraid to open it and present Sakkaku to the weirdness that was his uncle.

Zorua turned into her normal human form, looking at the door.

"It shouldn't be that hard...just tell him who I really am." Sakkaku said seriously.

"I'm just a pokemon you found and caught or something." she said with a smirk.

"He won't mind. RIght?"

"He's just....odd." Hasori replied, sighing as he opened the door. Laying on the couch was a man in his early thirties, who looked remarkably like Hasori--albeit older and with a patch of thing hair running down his chin.

"Oh, lookie here. Hasori's finally home. Did yah miss me...and, oh my, my my....you even brought a girl?" His uncle said, springing up and grabbing Hasori's shoulder, "My dear Hasori, finally, you have become a man! Coming home and bringing such an adorable girl with you!"

Hasori rolled his eyes, swiping his leg to knock the other man over, "She's just a friend. Knock it off; you'll scare her."

  • Author

"You're uncle is scary Hasori..." Sakkaku muttered, hiding behind the boy.

She then looked at Hasori's uncle, bowing slightly.

"My name is Sakkaku and I am a Zorua!" she said with a smile, transforming into her Zorua form and leaping onto Hasori's shoulder.

The uncle paused, sighing, "Hasori you're no longer a man; Pokemon don't count." He walked away, no longer interested and apparently not interested in the fact Sakkaku could speak. Hasori sighed, putting a hand to his face.

"And.....that's my uncle."

  • Author

"He's mean." Sakkaku sighed, transforming back into her human form after jumping off of Hasori's shoulder.

"What should we do now, Hasori?" she asked her 'brother'.

Hasori blinked, his brain trying to think.

"Honestly, I don't know." He said, letting out a sigh, "I mean, beyond laying around playing video games or just being lazy, I don't do too much." Hasori glanced away from Sakkaku, knowing that his general life description wasn't very lively. He was honestly ashamed of it too; a boy like him just couldn't find the friends or place to spend his idle time.

  • Author

"Your life is boring..." Sakkaku sighed, shaking her head.

"Why do you stay in Castelia? Why haven't you gone on a pokemon journey?" She asked.

"If you did, I will go with you" Sakkaku said with a smile.

"Uncle, mostly. Doesn't want me leaving the city. Big world and all that--guess he's just afraid of being alone." Hasori sighed, knowing he was making his uncle seem much more of a loser than he was.

"Maybe it's also because I never really felt the need. But with you....maybe I should." Hasori glanced at Sakkaku, smiling a little.

"I'm only really weak to bug and fighting types, I learned that the hard way." Sakkaku said seriously.

"Plus I'd level up and get stronger, right?" she asked.

"That is true." Hasori said, nodding with a small smile, "Though I never understood how Bug-Types were effective against Dark-Types...it's weird, y'know? How the heck does a bug beat a shadow? Like, do bugs have no fear or something? It bugs me..no pun intended." Hasori said, accidentally going off on a small rant about the two types.

  • Author

"Bugs are scary..." Sakkaku muttered.

"But I'm not that afraid of them Hasori! I wanna go on an adventure with you and get strong to destroy Team Void!" she said happily, turning into her Zorua form.

"Of course." Hasori replied, "We'll beat them together."

Hasori smiled, patting the Zorua on the head. Though....Team Void made him curious. Why were they after her? Surely, the must have had a specific reason....there was something larger behind this. Or, maybe, it was merely Hasori's paranoid mind bringing in the plots of countless anime.

  • Author

"Really?!" Zorua asked, excited.

"You're awesome Hasori!" she exclaimed.

"That Mudkip thing should be able to beat that pig thing easily!" Zorua said seriously.

She turned into an illusion of a Pignite.

"This thing." she snapped.

"Yeah...I should train my other Pokemon, too. It'll be easier to beat Void the stronger and more well-rounded they are." Hasori said, nodding once, "And yes, I know what a Pignite is."

Hasori smirked at the Zorua, patting her on the head once again. "How about tomorrow? I'll speak with my uncle and see if we can leave tomorrow at the earliest."
