A story i'm working on

I'm working on an outline for a story inspired by ancient mythology, i'm currently working on an outline for the characters, unlike most mythology stories which take place in ancient times, this one will take place in the modern world, mythology has always fascinated me because of watching movies and reading books like Thor, Percy Jackson, or Yu-Gi-Oh (which features some references to egyptian myths).

    That's pretty cool. My advice to you honestly, and it's your choice and all, but is to do research for fun. You'll find a lot of things you can use, from symbolism to just new information that'll enhance your story. Good luck!
