It was a normal day at Kyobun Academy... Hell for Manta Chiyamada... The hot day beating down his neck... He was never one for hot things... And the bullies were something else... This was day in day out bullying... He wished he could get stronger... Somehow, someway... For his life to change...

As he went home, manta slammed the door behind him. He sat in his house.

Alone.

Like he always was...

His parents were businessmen... So they weren't around as much as soon as he learned to take care of himself.

So... He sat... Alone... Looking at the ground, crying softly. He had seen things a normal human would never understand... And he didn't belive it himself... Not completely...

But one thing was for sure.

His universal constant.

He was alone.

"What a fool I am..."

After Hibari was exorcised by Mitsu, Raziel started following Manta's scent, he wasnt that far away. 

"He cant run that far away from us." she said with a smirk.

They arrived at his house rather quickly, Raziel knocking on the door.

"Excuse me." Mitsu called. 

Sniffing could be heard from inside the house. The door creaked open, as Manta forgot to lock it. Upstairs, Manta was crying. "-always be alone..." He mumbled. "-dosent even like me...."

Raziel tried to not burst out laughing as soon as she heard Manta crying. He really was a wimp.

"Are you sure Manta is worthy?" Mitsu quietly asked Raziel.

"I'm not so sure..." she sighed, walking upstairs and flinging open Manta's door.

"You are a pure wimp ya know." she said seriously.

"Ah!" Manta jumped back, not noticing they were there. "W-what do you mean!?" He put a pillow up, as if to defend oneself.

"You're too soft, you get scared easily and are too caring." Raziel said seriously.

"The girl is right ya know." Mitsu said with a smile.

"Manta, we need your help." Raziel then announced.

"If you are willing to take the sacrifice." Mitsu added.

Manta nodded...

He didn't know why being too caring was a weakness, but they were right... He needed to man up... And this must be his first step!

"Demons are all over the place, and yes, I may be one of them, but I didn't choose to be like this." Raziel said seriously.

She sat on the bed beside Manta.

"I was possessed, and forced into becoming half demon. I tried possessing Mitsu once, but he exorcised himself. I can't control myself when I want to possess someone..." she said seriously.

"We need your help to get rid of the demons, and Satan once and for all." she said proudly. 

Manta looked at them. "Defeat... Satan? How? He's... Satan!" He shivered at the thought of seeing satan, let alone fighting it... But... He couldn't back out now...

"Exorcise him of course." Raziel said.

"Before he possesses you." Mitsu added, looking at Manta with a serious gaze.

Manta shivered "M-me!?" He had no idea why The Lord of darkness would want his soul....

"He may possess anyone however. If he even gets ahold of Raziel, she is in danger." Mitsu said seriously.

"Would you like to help us?" Raziel asked.

"Just don't tell one soul I am not a demon...because..." Raziel muttered, suddenly falling silent.

"They will know that she is the one horrifying the students...and they will kill her." Mitsu finished. 

"Oh..." Manta lowered the pillow. This girl was serious... She was entrusting him with this knowledge... "O-okay! " he said.

"Good, tomorrow meet me at the school first thing, Mitsu won't be with me however, he is stalking me...literally all the time." Raziel explained, hopping up.

"And if anyone shows up to beat you up, just leave it to me, they will beg for forgiveness." she said with a smirk.

"Let's go Mitsu." Raziel snapped, Mitsu nodding. 

Manta fell asleep in fear and wonder of what the next day would bring... Him, fight the forces of evil? He wished it was a dream...

 

The next day, he looked for the two as soon as he entered the school.

Raziel's fist slammed into Manta's back.

"You're such a slow poke!" she snapped, glaring at the boy.

"I was able to change into the school uniform and everything...you're so slooowww!" she yelled.

Manta tripped over a rock after getting punched by the surprise assailant. "You must live closer than me..." He had actually woke up late...

"I really don't live anywhere. But that is okay!" Raziel said with a small smile.

"I was able to possess the principal so now I am in all of your classes, plus I erased any memory of me in everyone else's minds, so I am a 'new student' again. Just for our safety." she said seriously, grabbing onto Manta's arm and dragging him inside.

"So lets go!" Raziel smiled.

"But...but..." Manta teared up. All those hours he spent doing the big research papers... The homework.... All shot to hell...

"E-eh?! What's wrong?! What did I do this time?" Raziel asked.

"I just joined your classes, I didn't kick you out of them..." she muttered.

Manta had a sigh of relief... She was erased.. Not him.

 

They went to 1st period, and waited for the teachers announcements...

"Good Morning, Class. Today we have a new student." the teacher said.

Raziel looked at Manta.

"Told you." she muttered. 

"Raziel Akumu, please stand." the teacher announced.

Raziel stood up quickly, bowing slightly and sitting back down.

Manta sighed. "So... W-w-when do we start?" He whispered to his friend. He looked at her smile, but still didn't have enough honesty to convince him nothing was wrong...

"Well...you firrssttt need to learn how to be a good exorcist...so I am here to observe you." Raziel said seriously.

"So study up." she snapped. 

"I am moving in your house too, hope you don't mind!" Raziel said with a smirk. 

Manta started his response "Ok. I-" He then stopped.

 

What ramifications would happen.... If his parents came early!?

 

Last time he talked to them, they said business was going 'smooth' and 'better than expected'...

 

And him.... With a girl... In his room!

 

Then the threat of death came to mind. Exorcist fight devils minions every day... And most end up...
