It was a normal day at Kyobun Academy... Hell for Manta Chiyamada... The hot day beating down his neck... He was never one for hot things... And the bullies were something else... This was day in day out bullying... He wished he could get stronger... Somehow, someway... For his life to change...

"Something wrong?" Raziel asked.

She looked around.

"You aren't scared, are you?" She asked.

"...yes...." Manta cried a bit. "What if I die? Then... "

"Wha?!" Raziel asked.

"You aren't going to die! I won't let you." She said seriously.

He looked up. "Really?" He thought that saying was kind... Then he realized the undertone behind it... He was her prey, after all...

"I have to keep you alive if I can turn you into a demon." Raziel smirked, looking at Manta.

"Now work!" She snapped.

"Wa- wait!" He said, now ignorant of his surroundings. "You're gonna..." He stuttered. "What do you mean, work!?"

"You have to become an Excorsist." Raziel said, handing him some worksheets.

 

 

The day passed and Manta was forced to work under Raziel's will the most of the day, it was time for them to go home. Hopefully they wouldn't run into any bullies....

Manta panted on his way behind Raziel. "All that work... And I still have homework...." He looked at the books given by the teachers.

"That is what you get for only being a beginner exorcist." Raziel said with a smirk.

She helped Manta out with his books.

"When do your parents get home?" she asked. 

"Umm..." Manta thought, estimating the time if they left early. "One to two weeks..."

"Where are they?" Raziel asked.

"I have none, so I live a free life. Pity on you." she sighed, the two getting closer to Manta's house.

"But..." Manta said, looking at her. "What happened to them?"

(Whatever happened to getting Manta's appearance?) 

 

Raziel's eyes traced to the ground, she stopping in place. 

"I was possessed." she said simply.

"The demon took control of me and I....I ended up killing my parents." Raziel muttered.

"Is..."Mant said. "Is it still in there?" He asked, not of fear of his own life, but for others she might meet...

"It is..." Raziel muttered.

"Mistu got some of it out...but the demon is still there..." she said seriously. 

(LOL)

"So..." He got to the door. "So... does it ever.. escape?"

"It cant." Raziel said, showing Manta her necklace.

"If this breaks, the demon inside me will escape, taking over my entire body, and then going wild. It will probably be so wild, I will have to be killed." she explained.

"Ok..." Manta said. He walked over, and held Raziels hand. "I... We are friends... And... You've been through a lot..." He looked at her, with determined eyes. "I won't let you... Lose control..."

A slight blush crossed Raziel's face.

"Thank you Manta." she said with a smile, the two entering his house. 

"Mistu brought my stuff here today, it isn't that much." she said seriously. 

Manta agreed, it was not that much. About a bag or two. "Where do you want to sleep?"

"Where do you have to sleep?" Raziel asked, looking around his house a bit more.

It was a rather nice house.

"We have a guest room available." Manta said, as he directed her upstairs.

"I will take that room then if you don't mind." Raziel said with a smile.

She found the room quickly, placing her bags down.

"Here are your books." She said seriously, giving Manta his books back.

Manta looked at the cover and skimmed through them all. The books were lore on demons and angels of all shapes and sizes..."Umm..." Manta realized something "So...How do we..kill them?".

"We only need to worry about the Demons." Raziel said seriously.

"You are going to have to stab them, and learn to kill Manta." She said, sorting out her stuff Mitsu brought her.
