Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth will be mixing elements from the Etrian Odyssey series with characters from Persona 3 and Persona 4. Famitsu teases some new features that will be detailed in this week’s issue of the magazine.

According to the report, Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth will have a map-making feature similar to the ones in the Etrian Odyssey games, where you can draw the layout of the dungeons on the 3DS touch screen to help find your way around.

Additionally, the game will contain “F.O.E.” monsters, and when you come across them, you’ll have to decide whether it would be best to run, or maybe try to see if you can take them down, similar to tough monsters you may have encountered during  Etrian Odyssey.

Famitsu says you might get something special for defeating these tough F.O.E.s.

More details will be available when this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine is published. Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth will be released this fall in North America for Nintendo 3DS.

Good thing I played Etrian Odyssey Untold- it's pretty fun drawing out the map as you explore and trying to sneak around F.O.E.s., so I'm looking forward to this

The fact it's Persona makes it even more perfect

AWWW YEAHHHHHHHYHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
