P.W. Singer: Military robots and the future of war

Featured Replies

http://www.ted.com/talks/pw_singer_on_robots_of_war I bet this isn't going to happen.

Honestly, it's going to happen. People don't want other people dying, so with Robot Troops, it's more likely the public will support wars more, and the possibility to get robots to do more dangerous missions than humans were will and end wars faster, it's all easier.

That actually makes sense because it's better for a robot to be on the battlefield than a risking a person's life in the battlefield.

Until they rise up and kill us all.

Until they rise up and kill us all.

That's if we give them a self-aware A.I. that isn't programmed to not shoot humans unless attacked by one.

Until they rise up and kill us all.

This quote reminds me about a book called "i robot" by isaac asimov. Isaac asimov was a man who thought that people will begin to work with robots by 2000.
