Lailex watched as he ran off. He...was kinda' right. Sighing, she took one look at the sleeping figures before waving goodbye to Peter.

"I'll visit." And with that she left the base, wandering outside. The pixie dust was serving its time, but she had no idea how long it had been since she had it.

"Man...Bel's gonna' be pissed now that I'm gone..."

(DAMN STRAIGHT HE'LL BE PISSED. xDD)

 

Xigbar and Bel were wandering aimlessly through a heavily-wooded area. "Maaaaan, I'm beat from walking so far." (Pixie dust wore off.) Xigbar complained. Bel, also exhausted, held the map lazily in front of him. "A bit crabby, are we?" Bel asked, still skimming the area. "As if!"

 

"HOLY SH- XIGBAR, WHAT IS THAT?!" He pointed to a huge flying centipede Heartless. Xigbar readied his arrowgun and Bel whipped out his ax. (IMMA FIRIN' MAH LAZAR.)

 

(Just remembered that Kekkaishi is on tonight. <333 I love that show~)

Lailex looked up to see the Heartless they were looking for soar by.

"Oh...well that's interesting." She continued to float on by, might not be a good idea to fight without Belyxsh. Where was he..?

Xigbar cocked an eyebrow. "Judging by those legs, I'll bet they're its weakness." Bel nodded. "You can handle that, right?" Xigbar did so, shooting down all of its legs in one hit. "Piece of cake!"

 

But it wasn't. It was bleeding immensely, yes, but it was still suspended in midair. Something clicked with Bel. "I got this!" He raised his ax above his head, shouting yet another battlecry. "Sound medium!" In the blink of an eye, he was behind it. He swiftly chopped of its wings, causing it to fall to the ground.

Lailex heard a loud commotion coming from nearby. As she came closer she saw a heart drifting into the sky and Bel standing triumphantly with Xigbar. She hid in the bushes, her courage dwindling. They had taken out the Heartless...without her. She'd never hear the end of it now.

"Great, just great."

(They didn't finish it off, retard! BUT THEY'RE GONNA!)

 

"Damn! It isn't done!"

"Don't worry about it! Sonic weaponry!" He suddenly wielded another battleax, holding one to the ground, and the other mounted on his back, like Sora's second Keyblade. "Now to end it; Doppler Effect!" He ran in a zig-zag motion, getting quicker as he went and delivering an incredibly strong finishing barrage, cutting with both axes at once multiple times, slashing away all that was left of the Heartless, making it disappear. He sighed, allowing his other ax to disappear in his hand. "That did it."

 

"DAAAAAMN that was cool! I'm surprised the ladies aren't all over you!"

(Lol, whoops, my bad, burn my last post, and put it here )

 

"If only you knew Xigbar..." Lailex muttered from her hiding place.

Bel, with a supersonic sense of hearing, turned to the shrub that shielded her. "LAILEX!" He got excited, and literally jumped far enough to glomp her where she sat.

 

"There you are! Bel was lookin' all over the place for you."

Lailex screeched as she was suddenly glomped by surprise. As much as she liked Bel glomping her...she knew it wouldn't last. The irritation was bound to roll around sometime.

(You did say he would be pissed )

"H-hi Bel, nice to see you to." She gasped, her air supply being cut off drastically. She then comprehended Xigbar. "Was he now?" She managed to force out.

 

(RUSSELL JUST CALLED ME!!! YOU KNOW WHY, HE WANTS TO KNOW HOW TO DRAW FRAN'S BOOTS!!! GAH, I'LL KILL HIM )

(OMFG I LOVE HIM! xDD He's so adowable. xDD He could always call me! *sweatdrop* Oh yeah, that's right; I hate Fran.)

 

"Yeah."

"I was! Where the hell did you go, anyways?" He asked, unlatching himself from her torso.

She sat up, slightly dizzy from the lack of oxygen.

"Um...well...I kinda' got lost and this Lost Boy found me and I met Peter in their base and...er, they kinda' made me their mother and I told them a story...and I suckered into staying and then," Lailex paused, trying to figure out how to word it. "Well, the Lost Boy who found me told me the moral of my story was to never leave someone alone no matter how mad you are at them...soooo yeah." She scratched the back of her head, standing up. The story would seem far-fetched but they were in Neverland afterall.

Xigbar shrugged. "Normal compared to what I've been through."

 

"Yeah, Xigbar was mauled by a mutant mermaid."

Lailex raised an eyebrow.

"Mutant mer-please tell me it was Kaia and that she got her ass kicked. I hate her, I really do." And not because she tried to drown me, Lailex thought to herself secretly. "Did she get you good?"

"If she had long black hair and soulless green eyes, then yes. And she didn't really 'get me' per se, but I kicked her ass well."

 

"He tells the truth. Hey, maybe we should get back to HQ."

Lailex smiled at the thought of Kaia getting shown who's boss before meeting her teal blue eyes with Bel's powdery blue ones.

 

"Let's. But...are we taking the shortcut or the long way?" She asked, flying up as high as the pixie dust would allow...which was 3 feet because of its effects wearing off.

"Shortcut." Bel grinned.

Lailex pouted put accepted. Through the dark portal it was before:

"Bel...what about the Lost Boys? They think I'm their mom now...."

He laughed. "It'll be alright. They think I'm their mom, too. Ya see, I came here as female!Bel too, but effects don't last for me in worlds unless in Twilight Town, Hollow Bastion, or Twilight Town, since I've grown up in those three worlds. They'll forget about you in due time."

(Okay, can we do Axel and Roxas in Wonderland?)

"Oh..." In a way, that kind of hurt to hear that. 'They'll forget about you in due time'...Sometimes, things like that really questioned your existance of being a Nobody. It made Lailex wonder...if, say, she were to leave the Organization, would they to forget about her? She pushed aside those depressing thoughts before walking into the portal. When they got into the hallway outside their rooms Lailex paused as she walked inside.

"Hey Bel," Her voice sounded oddly hollow.

"Yeah?" He asked, taking note of the odd tone she had acquired upon arriving.

She took a deep breath.

"Just...promise to stay the same okay? Don't ever change or let anything get you down, even if I'm not here, alright?" It was different for Lailex to feel that way, to care for someone being happy other than herself but if anything ever happened on a mission...she just wanted Bel to be the bubble, hyper boy he was. -THIS DOESN'T MEAN FORSHADOWING, just sayin'-

(Phew. You were scaring me with all the depressing quotes, so I kinda fingured...)

 

He gave her a hug, and his voice was that low, husky, serious tone again. "I promise."

(Lol, I can be lying, you never know IF it is foreshadowing I do have a back up plan nonetheless.)

 

Lailex was quite shocked for a moment by his actions and the tone of his voice but she accepted it.

"I...thank you Bel." She smiled thughfully. Life without Bel wouldn't be the same if he hadn't been in the Organization.

(Next Day)

 

Saix awoke the next day tofind all the members present in the "living quarters" to recieve their missions. It was as if his punishment had no effect. Well firetruck that shit. He awaited for the members to come up and get their missions. At least these were semi-difficult...

Axel was first. 'Cause he's cool like that. "So what's on the agenda, Saix?" He asked boredly, REALLY hating this whole punishment thing. He was kinda tired, even after having coffee, but he tried to keep his mood up. NOBODY liked hearing Axel's bitching when he was bothered in the morning.
