Axel gave him a quick kiss on the forehead before drifting off to sleep.

 

(NEXT DAY, YOU ARE SAIX)

Saix walked into the Round Room the next day, still frowning. Axel, Roxas, Lailex, and Bel were there, ready for they're huge mission. Apparently it needed four people...for whatever reason.

"good to see you showed up."

"Yeah, yeah..." Lailex yawned, stretching lazily.

Axel yawned. "So what are we doing?"

Saix let the corner of his lips twitch before leaning against the windows of 'living quarters'.

"You'll all be doing a mission together, being it is...rather difficult." He handed them all an orange file folder. "You'll be fighting a Dustflier." Roxas' face paled, he heard from Xigbar that he himself couldn't beat that Heartless.

Bel gulped. "Sounds intimidating. Dust...flier. Yeah." Axel looked at him. "What? That doesn't sound scary at all."

Lailex nodded along with Axel. What could be the harm be in a Dustflier?

Roxas shook his head in denial.

"No guys...this isn't something we can beat 1, 2, 3...Xigbar couldn't even beat it. Dustfliers are wicked strong." He explained. Lailex's eyes widened.

"Count me out." Saix raised an eyebrow.

"It's mandatory."

"firetruck." Bel cussed. He really hated mandatory missions. Axel didn't like them either, but hey, Roxas was doing it.

"Language no.15. Anyway, you best be heading out. The faster you complete this mission the faster Kingdom Hearts will be completed. Your destination will be Twilight Town. Go." Saix ordered, opening a dark corridor for them to all go through. Lailex reluctantly followed as Roxas went. After looking at the stats she realized this Heartless was like a freakin' tank! Almost nothing had a single effect on it!

"This'll be impossible..."

"No kidding." Roxas replied, sighing.

Once in Twilight Town, Bel was made a girl once again. Boobs, hair, personality, the entire package. "So....do you think it'll be in the station again? That seems to be where most of these large Heartless appear..." She asked shyly, her voice quiet and more high-pitched. Axel shrugged. "Probably. Wouldn't hurt to look."

Lailex shrugged.

"Sure. Let's kno-"

"What the hell just happened to Bel?! Why is he a a she?!"

"Ah, it's a long story, but please don't worry about it right now." Despite the sudden pang of voices in her head, she kept a shy smile on her face. "We should focus on our mission."

Lailex eyed Bel carefully, recognizing the odd tone underneath the girl's voice. It was the same one she had when she was a Somebody, trying to convince people she was okay. Using her telepathy, she communicated with Bel.

You okay?

 

Roxas gave an uneasy look before nodding slowly.

"Oh...'kay."

Bel twitched. She knew it was Lailex, but when she did that, it made her confused for a moment. 'Yes. I'm just being paranoid again. After all, I AM insane.'

Alright...I just...uh, nevermind. I was just checking.

 

As they headed to the clock tower Lailex tried to sense the Heartless' presence. She found it all right, and it almost overwhelmed her with darkness. She staggered backwards, just slightly as she felt the dizziness set in. Roxas looked back at her curiously.

"Lailex?"

"Strong heartless, eh?" Axel assumed.

"That must be why Saix warned us... I have a weird feeling."

 

She summoned her ax again, and Axel did the same with his chakrams.

Lailex nodded, summoning her twin blades and Roxas his Keyblade.

"Yep...and it'll be a bitch to beat."

"We'll show Saix who's the boss, don't worry. We'll take this Heartless down, right Axel?" Roxas asked smiling. Before the pyro could speak the ground began to shake, a solid zig-zag crack going through the pavement.

"Welll, firetruck."

"...Losing my sense of hope." Axel declared, looking up at the enormous Heartless before them. Bel plunged her ax into the ground, sensing something different. "It seems resistant to most attacks. Axel is a mere gnat to this thing."

 

"WHAT?"

"It isn't phased by fire, I'm afraid."

"FFFFFUUUU."

Roxas couldn't help but giggle slightly as he attempted to hit it with his Keyblade.

"Saix really got you this time Axel." Lailex couldn't help but agree. Just like all the other large Heartless she began to analyze it.

"Attack from above! The tail seems to be-" She dodged one of the swipes in union with Axel. "Its most sensative spot so aim for that." She informed lunging forward with the other 3 to hit the tail. As soon as they did, the Dustflier leapt into the air, circling above them.

"SHIT, Now what?!" Axel demanded, still fuming over the fact that he couldn't do SHIT to this thing.

 

"Either we knock it down, or we wait for it to come back down. Though I wouldn't expect it to come down peacefully."

Lailex nodded before widening her eyes.

"Everyone jump!!!" As soon as she said that the Dustflier slammed itself onto the ground, releasing a large, red shockwave.

"firetruck, this thing's impossible!" Roxas cursed, landing next to Axel.

Status Vulnerability- Ignite: IMMUNE, Freeze: IMMUNE, Jolt: 0.01, Air-Toss: IMMUNE

 

Attacks give consistant damage. The lowest amount an attack can take away is 50% -for this Heartless anyway-

 

Just some information on the Heartless for you. It IS a tank

Axel didn't do anything since he couldn't, and Bel couldn't stand this thing already. "Diffraction." She made a swish of her axe, sending a series of sound waves to hit the dragon-like Heartless. It did very little damage, if any. "Damn it..."

Roxas attempted to slice at his tail. However, in mid-jump, the large spiked tail swung straight for Roxas' stomach. Quickly, Lailex used her telekineses to push the blond out of the way, only taking a little damage.

"Jesus Christ Saix, he's firetrucking insa-AH!" She suddenly yelled, suffering a surprise blow from behind.

"Ah! Lailex!" Bel called after her, getting swiped by claws, sending her aside. "AH!"

 

Axel was also caught by surprise, being hit by its tail.

 

Almost all of them were down but Roxas.
