This is my top three favorite colors. I will explain why they are my favorite and what it resembles to me. All three of these colors have been in my top 3-5 all my life. And I now figured out why.
Aquamarine Blue ~
This color has been my favorite for years upon years. Ever since I was eleven years old, this color has stood out to me. I have found out the reasons why I love this color so much. To me this color resembles; the sky, the ocean and freedom.
The sky... reminds me of flight and when I think of flight, I think of feeling free. Flying means all shackles are gone, there is no cage or bindings to keep me grounded. I have the freedom to go wherever I want. Whenever I want.
The ocean… has been the most lovely and most mysterious place to me. The wonders in the ocean, the creatures, the life. The ocean has been a great love for me and some of my greatest memories are at the beach with my family. The calmness of the ocean, the beauty… it’s so captivating. Even its rough tide can be beautiful.
The Freedom… One of the things I will/am fighting for. To me, this will be the greatest accomplishment in life. Like I said above. Freedom means no shackles, no cage, not even a cell can keep me from this. Being free means no one can control me, I can do whatever I feel necessary. Go wherever my heart desires. It is one of the best things I can ever get out of life.
Emerald Green ~
This color has stood out to me since I was thirteen years old. It is the most beautiful green I can ever think of. It reminds me of the beautiful grass meadows, the forest on a peaceful day and it also reminds me of peace.
The meadows… are quite wonderful to me. Watching the healthy green grass move with the wind, the bright warm sun calming me and the wonderful colors of the meadows. The comfort of the breeze that can come with the meadows. It gives me a sense of comfort.
The forest… can be the most peaceful place on earth, if you go the right time. The bright green leaves on the trees, the dark brown wood, the smell of fresh pine or oak in the air and seeing a doe or a stag frolic between the trees. The bright orange foxes sneaking around the trees, the grey bunnies hopping silently and peacefully grazing on flowers. A forest gives me a sense of peace.
The peace… is something, I think, we all want in life. Peace is liking having no worry in the world, to feel calm, graceful. I can sometimes rarely find peace. (Which I think we all have trouble look for peace and holding onto it.) But it is a great feeling that I would love to have when I want it.
Amethyst Purple ~
Purple has always been one of my favorites since I was a young, young girl. I never knew which purple was my favorite until I found the Amethyst Purple. Then I knew right then and there, this is my favorite purple. This color, to me, represents mystery and adventure.
The Mystery… is something we all have in life. And one of the many things I have come to love about life. You never know what choices will change your life, you never know when you’ll meet the love of your life. Which is why mystery can be one of the best, but scariest things in life. I always found mystery as an interesting aspect part of life, it’s what keeps me going through life. Wondering what will happen next in my day to day life. And how my life with unfold.
The Adventure… is another one of my personal favorites of life. We all have somewhat of an adventure in life, big or small. Some have more adventure in their lives than others. I want to go through a big adventure. I want to achieve my dreams/goals, which can be quite the adventure. I want to see things I’ve never seen before, go places I’ve never been. Meet people in different cultures. Life is an adventure and I think if we all strive to have that adventure, we will make better lives for ourselves and others around us.
So these are my top three favorite colors.
Each color represented something different for me, each color signified what I want out of my life. Each color will have different meanings to us, we just sometimes need to figure out what it is. Maybe our favorite colors have a special message for us. There’s always something in the color that catches our eye. Sometimes we never know until we think it through.
Since we all see colors differently, we all have different traits in these colors, different goals and paths. That’s life. But I think sometimes that colors can give us a big change if we give it a thought or two.
Thank you for reading this. I was thinking about my favorite colors and I thought of what each color meant to me and why. This may have been interesting or not to you. But it couldn’t hurt to put this out there.
