Needing an opinion about my character

Posted

Hey guys!
Welp, I'm writing another fan fiction againThis time it's for the TV series, Arrow. Pretty sure you've heard of it, some of you may have not. So it's about the DC comics super hero; Green Arrow. Which (by far) my second favorite super hero. Sooo anyway, here what's going on. I've made a biography list on my character and I'd like an opinion. Does it make sense or do is there an issue with the bio?
(Keep in mind that I will be adding on to the biography as my fan fiction progresses. (I did my best to contain no spoilers, cause most of this is already known in the first episode)

So without further ado... HERE IT IS! :3

Name; Madeline Felicia Queen
Alias: (The) Quiver
Nicknames; Mads and/or Maddie
Relatives; Father, Robert Henry Queen. Mother, Moira Queen. Brother, Oliver Jonas “Ollie” Queen. Sister, Thea “Speedy” Queen.
Appearance; Long straight black hair with swayed bangs, that she usually puts in a side braid when she suits up. Light forest green eyes. Olive skin.
Height; 5”6
Weight; 136 lbs

Biography:
Madeline is the second oldest in the Queen family, her brother being five years older than her and her sister being five years younger (Madeline’s birth being on May 6th, 1990), has been sort of hard to maintain friendships between the siblings. Yet they still pulled through and become good friends over time as they matured. Oliver slowly gained more and more arrogance about himself and everything he has, as for Madeline she stayed exactly as she was for the years on.

When she hears of the devastation that her brother and father have been lost at sea, it tears her apart. She felt very lonely since. Her sister, Thea, slowly breaks away and goes out partying with her friends, and goes out all night drinking. And as for her mother, Moira, she shut herself out to both Madeline and Thea; their mother leaving them completely alone. Madeline’s anger of her father’s and brother’s disappearance drove her to start taking classes for self-defense, for a stress reliever.

She visited the gym regularly, taking her anger out on punching bags and also took it to her lessons. She became one of the quickest to learn in her classes, because she is driven by this anger. The only person, who was there for Madeline, was Oliver’s best friend, Tommy (Thomas Merlyn.) Some of the days when she needed a shoulder to cry on, he’d be there for her, even though he was strongly hurt himself.

Like an older brother, he cared for her and tried his best to help her. After about three years, accepting that both Oliver and her father is dead. She tried to reach out to Thea, who kept pushing her away. And in this five year period, her mother married a former colleague of her father’s. Walter. This didn’t anger her too much, since she didn’t mind Walter much. But it still felt off.

After five long and dreadful years; the news of her brother, Oliver Queen, arises. She is notified that he’s alive and when he walks into the house, she throws herself into her brother’s arms. Of whom she hasn’t seen in five years. She cries into his shoulder happy to see him, yet questioning of why he’s been gone so long.
