Nora blew the door open, as the company that expected her, watched her run behind one of them. Ren eventually caught up, panting as he crossed the threshold.

 

"Where is she?"

 

Everyone immediately looked around and pointed to where she hid, behind Blake who was behind Yang.

(I guess that was a pretty short post o-o)

 

"Nora!" he yelled, marching towards her.

"Ren, stop!" she said, throwing an empty bottle of syrup at the floor in front of him.

 

Ren furiously picked up the bottle and began to walk away.

 

"Ren, why not hang out with us for a bit?" Neptune offered.

"Ren's making pancakes," Nora squealed.

"Pancakes? Everyone to Team JNPR's room!" Sun inquired.

"What!?!" Jaune said in surprise!

 

The group, except for Pyrrha, Jaune, and Nora began to run downstairs, trampling over Ren in the process.

I glide over the azure clouds, dodging the pizzas that come hurling my way. Do a barrel roll!

 

Upon doing one I suddenly begin spiraling towards the gumdrop village below! No way- as President of the United Candy District Provinces I cannot be responsible for the destruction of this village!

 

Pulling on my hood, I manage to begin soaring like a flying squirrel on the air currents!

 

I continue this way until I softly land back on the ground below, which just happens to be made out of Jello-O. It would appear I'm stuck yet again.

The blonde leader rushed over to his Asian friend, helping him up, while his partner accompanied the orange haired, syrup-addicted girl.

 

"You okay, man?" Jaune asked.

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine," Ren replied, patting himself off.

"So about those pancakes?"

 

Ren smirked as the four of them headed downstairs.

Seeing how the acid rain is picking up, perhaps choosing to drive in a convertible was a bad choice. The road ahead of me keeps getting burned away, causing me to swerve and perform unruly maneuvers!

 

Zwei is sitting in the glove compartment, hogging all the Oreos to himself.

 

"Come oooon, give me one already!"

 

He responds in his calm, collected Morgan Freeman voice. "One does not simply eat an Oreo without milk, Ruby. You must hurry to the grocery store."

 

He's right- there's no two ways around it. My resolve strengthened, I floor it down the dissolving street!

To Team JNPR's surprise, Sun was helping make more pancakes and there were plenty to spare. It was nice having guests that didn't just mooch off of you. The rest of the company grabbed some plates and cups and began to have a small and chill party.

 

"I love these pancakes, Ren! You have to share the recipe," Sun nudged Ren's shoulder, mixing a new batch.

"Maybe next time," the long haired boy smirked.

"Aww man!"

 

Neptune sat next to Weiss, who enjoyed his company just as much as he did hers on Jaune's bed. Nora observed the two making the delicious pancakes. Yang and Blake sat opposite each other on Nora's bed, a little bit too self conscious of themselves and Pyrrha sat in her as good mannered as always.

"Hey Pyrrha!" Nora looked back, "Where did Jaune go?"

"Huh?" she answered in surprise, looking around.

 

Jaune closed the door behind their dorm and crossed the hallways to RWBY's door. 

 

"It's unfair we're having this much fun without Ruby. We should at least ask her if she'd like to join."

 

He knocked on the door.

 

"Ruuuuuuuuby! You awake?" he yelled through the oak door.

"Zwei, why do we have to throw a piece of jewelry into this volcano?"

 

"Because the plot demands it, Ruby."

 

"Oh."

 

Suddenly I find myself not at Mt. Doom but rather sleeping at the desk, my homework just as blank as when I started. Well that's disappointing.

 

Someone's knocking at the door...Jaune? I get up and open it, sure enough it's him. It sounds like a party is going on from behind Team JNPR's door. Now that I think about it, I'm the only one in Team RWBY's room.

 

"Yooo, what's up, Jaune?"

"Hey, Ruby," Jaune began. "Weiss said you were sleeping and by the looks of it, you were."

 

Jaune sighed and rubbed the back of his head.

 

"You wanna join us? Ren made pancakes."

[Ruby Rose 8,591]

"Nora's in the building yet pancakes are still an option? Moments like this come but once a lifetime, Jaune!"

 

With that I close the door behind me and proceed to the JNPR door, only to find it's locked. I knock on it but I guess the noise inside drowns it out.

 

"Ah, Jaune? Please don't tell me you locked us out..."

"No silly," Jaune responded, searching his pockets for his scroll. "I have my- No, no way... I must have left it in there."

 

Jaune knocked on the door loudly.

 

The seven teenagers inside all seemed to be preoccupied at the moment, excluding Pyrrha. Pyrrha sat by herself quietly taking it all in, beginning to wonder when Jaune would return. She stood up in curiosity and made her way to the bathroom to freshen up.

"Hmm...only one thing to do!"

 

I dash off, racing towards the stairs for the roof.

 

"You could always become a farmer, Jaune!" I call back to him.

"W-What?!" Jaune yelled in surprise. "Ruby!" extending his hand towards her direction.

 

Pyrrha opened the door to find a slightly disgruntled blonde in front of him. He spent the time to fetch her and she just ran away like that.

 

"No luck?" the redhead asked.

"A-Actually," he began, doing a signature rubbing of the back of his head. "Never mind," making an 'x' with his arms over and over again. "Ruby is so weird," he thought as he began to enter the door.

"Wait," Pyrrha interrupted. "Wanna go up to the roof? We still haven't trained."

"Uhm, Ru- Sure."

 

Weiss only noticed after the door was closed that the two partners exited the door. She wanted to stay flirting with Neptune, but she had an inkling of responsibility to check if Ruby was fine.

I make it to the roof, finding myself alone. I guess Yang and Blake finished making their pizzas and went to the party.

 

Welp, I ain't about to miss no party!

 

Jogging to the edge of the roof, I look down and try to eye the window to Team JNPR's room...but I can't tell which window that is.

 

Oh well! I grab the ledge and lower myself down, hanging off the side of the building. I'll just have to check all the windows like Sun!

Weiss exited Team JNPR's dorm room and immediately opened the door to Team RWBY's room to check if Ruby had gone in, while Jaune and Pyrrha walked up the stairs.

 

"Pyrrha, you ready for the tournament?" Jaune asked enthusiastically.

"Yes, training with you has actually refined my knowledge of the basics, Jaune!" she answered, somehow making him the subject of the conversation.

"Basics, huh?" he questioned himself.

"Oh! You're doing great, Jaune! I just-"
"I understand Pyrrha," he laughed, "I'm joking! Ha ha ha," he ended dryly. "Here I am finishing the basics and Pyrrha's taking on all of Team CRDL by herself."

 

The pair continued to walk upward.

 

"Then again, Pyrrha is at the top of our class. Why am I comparing myself to her?"

To the white haired girl's surprise, Ruby was not at the room. She wondered if Ruby had gone up to the roof with Jaune and Pyrrha.

"Nora!" Ren yelled. "Get down from there!" he demanded as the orange-haired girl clung to the top of the curtains.

"Here, I got it!" Yang volunteered, pulling Nora down.

 

Blake helped with the process, closing the window and the curtains. They didn't want the faculty seeing this after all. 

 

"Good call, closing the windows! We're having a party tonight!" Sun insisted, tapping his glass of juice with Ren, standing next to him in the kitchen.

"Yeah!" Neptune joined in, also raising his glass.

I just gotta remember my training! Lowering myself further, I drop down onto the first windowsill and glance inside.

 

Nope, wrong room. It's just Cardin...yodeling?

 

...where are my headphones when I need them?

 

Oh yeah, Weiss has them. Hang in there ears!

 

With nothing of value here, I jump over to the next window- landing like a Blake cat!

The party was getting rowdier and rowdier. It was too much for Ren, seeking refuge in the bathroom.

Weiss began to walk upstairs, accidentally leaving the door to their room open.

Pyrrha and Jaune made it to the roof, the latter being surprised to not find a trace of the flower girl.

 

"Should we begin with hand to hand today, Jaune?"

"Uhhhh," he let out, looking around for Ruby, "You know I suck with that, Pyrrha!" he complained.

"Exactly why we should train. We work on our weaknesses."

Weiss continued up the stairs, while Ren could not drown out the noise the crowd was causing in their room. Slightly infuriated, but too tired to yell, he trudged towards the door and exited the room, only to find more surprise. The door to their friend's room was open. Realizing this, he cautiously approached it.

I find Velvet trying to put on a baseball cap, but to no avail. I never really thought about that. Can Blake wear hats?

 

Crouching, I leap to the next windowsill- the curtains closed. I hadn't accounted for that.

 

Not hearing any noise, this can't be the JNPR party room.

 

This window a lost cause, I jump to the next!

Ren slowly entered Team RWBY's room to find many things on the floor and the window opened, with the wind blowing hard. Did someone break in? Ren secured the perimeter and closed the window and any other openings shut. After making sure everything was okay in the room, he had to tell the others.

Jaune and Pyrrha practiced their hand combat, and surprisingly, Jaune wasn't doing so bad. Although considering Pyrrha did not use any of her powers, while his aura was protecting him from her blows, he still needed to improve.

Weiss continued to walk up calmly, thinking Ruby was still on the roof.

No luck so far, I didn't know Professor Port wore a fat suit. He's more ripped than Sun.

 

But now what?

 

Just as I consider going to check the next floor, I hear weapons clashing up from above.

 

Could that be Pyrrha and Jaune training?

Jaune stopped what he was doing and looked directly at a specific direction.

 

"Hey, uh, are we ever gonna continue this RP?" he wondered, breaking the fourth wall.

"Been waiting on you, silly!"

Ruby was clearly hearing things, considering Jaune and Pyrrha were practicing hand to hand combat.

Ren walked in Team JNPR's abode and closed the door rather hard.

 

"Nora!"
"Huh?" Nora wondered, looking at the boy. "Boop?"

"Boop..."

"Coming!"

 

The orange haired girl jumped off of her seat and ran towards the boy.

 

"What's going on?" Neptune wondered

Weiss made it to the roof, finding Pyrrha on top of Jaune. Not too surprising, considering he was pretty incompetent...especially in her eyes. The white haired girl guessed Pyrrha saw more in Jaune than the rest of them did.

 

"Pyrrha..." Jaune started, "Why do you believe in me?"
"Because I see more in you than the rest of them do~" /shot

With all those voices, I may as well investigate! Grabbing an overhead ledge, I pull myself up, get situated, then hop up to grab the ledge of the roof, hoisting myself up again.

 

Looks like Pyrrha and Jaune are having a moment- but I thought he liked Weiss!?
