My first fanfic ever, this is an excerpt from something im writing at the moment, the backstory
Sora dolan and gooby have arrived at the Olympus colliseum, Hercules has to fight the 4 titans to prove himself to Zeus so Sora donald and gooby participate in the games to become senior heroes whilst they wait for Herc to return.
Sora materialised his keyblade, ready for combat, on the opposite side of the arena was a lethal fighter-Genesis. He wore a coat the same colour as blood and flat, brown hair that went softly over the sides of his face. Genesis grinned, unsheathing his blade. It's luminous glow of crimson seemed dangerous, Sora was in for a surprise. The crowd in the stands yelled out "GENESIS" in glee. Sora was the underdog.
He looked up to see Genesis reading a strange looking book, the cover read "LOVELESS". Leaping gracefully into mid-air, Sora launched himself at Genesis for a frontal attack but Genesis stood, reading "LOVELESS". As he came closer, Sora slashed his keyblade horizontally at Genesis, who countered in the blink of an eye, the two blades were locked together in close combat. Genesis seemed confident. His eyes gleamed. Sora kept pushing the hilt of his keyblade forward in an effort to overpower Genesis but it failed. Genesis broke the hold with such impact that Sora flew back onto the arena floors with a violent thud. He was hopeless. Genesis was far superior to him, he could predict the timing of any attack. Sora was not finished yet. He jumped back up from the ground and began sprinting towards Genesis. Faster and faster. Nearer and nearer. He couldn't lose the battle, not yet. Fear would never take it's toll on such an adamant boy. He began a full frontal assault on Genesis, landing a few successful hits, once he drew closer to the final blow Genesis began blocking everything. Every single attack was countered with ease. Hit after hit. Sora was failing to find an opening to defeat him so he picked the pace up, his slashes gained speed but Genesis defended himself against them all. It was impossible, only Xemnas and Sephiroth have ever been able to defend against this speed of attacks. Fear took it's toll. Sora was going to lose. The pressure was too great. Just when things could not get worse Sora slowed down his strike rate and Genesis launched an immediate flurry of blows at him. Reflect was successful until Genesis shattered the barrier into pieces. Sora had no choice but to retreat and plan ahead. But that was too late, Genesis struck Sora on the shoulder with a tiny flesh wound that caused him to flinch for a split second. In that time Genesis struck his blade through Soras' chest. It
was over. Sora fell to his knees. Defenceless against Genesis. Was it over?
