3 crazy hopes for KH3 (Video)

Featured Replies

  • Wasn't it stated in an interview after E3 that you'll be able to summon party members from other worlds, such as summoning Hercules (if he becomes the party member for Olympus Colosseum) in the Tangled world? Cause I'm pretty sure it was.
  • I wouldn't be surprised if this happens. I mean this is two gaming generations ahead of Kingdom Hearts 2.
  • We're probably gonna be able to play as other characters. I couldn't really here you much over the cutscenes. Heck, we SHOULD be able to play as other characters besides Sora. This story isn't just about him anymore.

Honestly these hopes aren't really that crazy. In fact, I'm expecting all of them.

1. It would be really amazing to have Cloud and the other FF characters in your party, I liked the part in KH2 where he and the others fighted along side Sora (after the 1000 heartless).

2. Didn't they say that the heartless now can team up and work together? So I guess they can make that for the boss fights, too.

3. I didn't know that, but it would be actually pretty cool. Though they have to give Donald and Goofy more moves then.

Oh and just a tip, I couldn't really hear you in the end of the video, because of the cutscenes.

Master Eraqus and Felixx-Thank for you the feedback xD I'll re-upload it now.

1. Nope that was never stated.

3. You misunderstood, swapping between Sora Dolan and Gooby INBETWEEN the battle, so i can press a button and switch over to Donald.

Oh, ok thanks. Btw, it was stated, I found the interview here:

--In Kingdom Hearts I & II we were used to have a Disney character joining our party in each new world Sora and his friends visit. Will this mechanic be present in Kingdom Hearts 3?

Nomura: Right, the idea of having a Disney character joining your party was an important part of KH 1 & 2, so, yes you will be able to have Disney characters joining your team across the game, not just as a temporary party member in the worlds, but also as summons.

And for the Donald & Goofy thing, now that I know what you mean xD, maybe will get some form of combo that leads to Donald shooting a firaga spell or something like that. Either way, it's not that far-fetched, in my opinion at least :).

EDIT: Wait nevermind, I might have misunderstood the summon part. Woops. :(

Thanks :) But I believe Nomura meant it as in just party members and summons. Not taking party members from one world into the other.

Yeah, I misunderstood that part. Whoops...
