A synopsis I wrote

In a near future where sorcery has been outlawed by the ruling government, a young girl is in custody for illegal practice of sorcery via her mother who tutored her. While in custody she meets a guy with similar gifts as hers who tells her about a gathering of witches and sorcerers who’re fighting for their right to live, and to have a place in this world. When they both escape and join the group, they discover that the world is more complicated than perceived.

 

Think Mad Max meets Harry Potter.
