*SPOILERS ALERT*

This is my 3rd movie review ever so I might miss some points .

12 Rounds 3 : Lockdown is the third installment in the 12 Rounds movie series producted by WWE Studios . The plot is not connected to the last two films (12 Rounds 2 :Reloaded and 12 Rounds 1) . The protagonist is Jonathan Good also known as Dean Ambrose , a wrestler currently working with WWE .

Plot Summary

Detective Shaw returned to active duty after he was cleared by psychologists . He had been accused of killing his partner during a shooting that is not shown in the movie . He gets his hands on a USB containing evidence of fellow Detective Burke ,who had been taking part in major drug-dealing operations with drug dealer George Freemont (whom Burke killed at the beginning of the movie so that there's no evidence that links to his crimes) . When Burke realises that Shaw has evidence of his previous actions , he instantly heads to the police station , gathers the other corrupted cops and orders a lockdown in the building . The only people that are left inside the bulding are Shaw , Burke (accompanied by his group) and Officer Taylor (who is also killed by Burke) . As Shaw constantly tries to get into contact with Captain Matthews (who is later revealed to be taking part in Burke's operations) , Det . Burke puts the blame on his fellow officer for the death of one of his partners and Taylor . Meanwhile , John Shaw , who only has 12 rounds in his gun ,  after killing all of Burke's men and having the evidence destroyed by him , runs into a SWAT Team that was sent into the building to check what's going on (ordered by Chief Keppler from the outside) . When the protagonist finally meets with Matthews , she gets executed by Burke who confesses about all of his plans . Keppler and the SWAT Team come in and move on to arrest Shaw when he suddenly plays an audio of Burke's earlier confession . Before Burke shoots Shaw , he gets shot with the last round from John's gun who leaves the police station .

Alright , so there's the plot .

To begin with , there have been a lot of negative reviews of the movie but I think it was pretty good . The plot is short and to the point . There are no misunderstandings or no backgrounds of actors that the viewers need to know about . Violence is a huge element of the movie but it's combined with clever lines and great sound effects so that it is not noticeable . A drawback that I first noticed at the beginning of the film is that we don't get to know more about Det. Shaw's background and why he really was tested by psychologists. Also , the name "12 Rounds" was not connected with the plot that much as "12 Rounds" is only mentioned when Shaw counts the bullets in his gun (unlike in the two previous movies in which 12 Rounds represented a vicious game ).The whole story takes place in the police department that Shaw works at . That's another minus . However , the fact that viewers don't really have to remember lots of names and places is positive . That's why "simple" works this time around .

Actors :

Dean Ambrose : All you need to know about him is that his WWE gimmick is being a crazy guy that does not care about a thing . That's what he also represents in this film . His performance is not as good as the last two protagonists' in the trilogy but it's fine as it is .

Roger Cross : He's played in numerous films and TV series so you really can' t complain about his performance this time around . He is the main antagonist who portrays a corrupted cop .

Daniel Cudmore : Also an experienced actor . He is Burke's main sidekick and the last of Burke's men to be killed . During the film , he controls the security sytem , cameras and Network connection of the police station , making it difficult for Shaw to survive .

There are a lot more actors that I did not mention above such as Rebecca Marshall who plays the role of Captain Matthews and Matthew Harrison who is George Freemont .

That was my review . Yeah , I've probably missed A LOT of points . For any of you who have seen the movie , what did you think about it ? Did you like it or did you just hate it ?
