i'm writing a fan-script for my own Batman VS Superman script. I'm very unsure about the upcoming movie whether it will be good or not. This is a rough scene i wrote.
INT. BATCAVE – NIGHT
The main computer monitors screen turns emerald-green after a short blackout.
BRANIAC
Hello, Bruce.
BRUCE
What – how the hell do you know my name? Better yet, who are you?
BRANIAC
My creators referred to me as Braniac.
BRUCE
Creators?
BRANIAC
… That’s classified.
BRUCE
Okay, a little freaky. Again, how do you know my name?
BRANIAC
My purpose is to gain information. There is nothing I cannot know.
BRUCE
(Stops for a while, puts on a ‘this guy just screams bad news’ face) One more question. Why are you talking to me?
BRANIAC
Because there is a threat to this planet. I think you might be aware of an individual known as ‘Superman’?
The screen fills with video footage of Superman.
BRUCE
Why would he be a threat to this planet? Seems like a nice guy to me.
BRANIAC
His powers – I’ve been studying his skillset. Flight, strength, heat vision, you can see why I am concerned: You also remember when your parents were shot, yes?
Bruce is silent.
BRANIAC
Of course. When your parents were killed, this Superman was just a small boy. He could’ve very easily saved them from that burglar in one millisecond. You must admit Mr. Wayne, you despise Superman with every fibre of your body. It’s because of him that you’re still mourning over them. Why you're on your little 'vengeance quest'.
