Xenoblade Chronicles X (Zero Punctuation)

He raises some good points, and I mostly agree with them. Some points he makes I'd like to expand on though.

There are plenty of things to use miranium and credits on, but it's more oriented towards endgame, which I assume he hasn't really touched at all. In fact, most people have trouble finding a good way to have enough without looking at a guide.

I don't really understand how he thinks the customization for each party member is unintuitive. There are plenty of options for each character, and it feels like there's so many ways to go about equipping everyone with the new arms manufacturers.

The soundtrack I can see why people dislike it, but it grew on me after a while. It's an unusual OST to be sure, but I don't think it's inherently bad.

The way the monsters are set up I think makes it more immersive. Mira is a hostile planet, and won't always be streamlined to fit the path you're taking. There has to be something ridiculous along the way, or else the world wouldn't feel as alive and dangerous.

It's a good review, and highlights some flaws that's sometimes overlooked when talking about the game, like how it doesn't teach you certain game mechanics unless you look up a guide (Overdrive and Augments), and how some of the characters do seem a bit flat in character development, even after doing their affinity and heart to heart missions, specifically Lin and Doug.
