Let's Discuss Microsoft's Latest Press Event

Posted

So as you may or may not know, Microsoft held a gaming press event for the media Feb. 23-25 for Windows 10 and Xbox Gaming.

If you do not have interest in Microsoft discussion, this thread probably isn't for you.

Now, this press event DID get announced publicly to my knowledge, HOWEVER the media who attended are under an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) which prevents them from releasing info. Hmm...why could this be?

Here's my speculation.

Recently, former Xbox exclusive titles such as Gears of War: Ultimate Edition have been released onto PC via the Windows Store.

Why is this significant?

This means Microsoft is becoming more and more familiar with PC gaming and the Windows platform in general. It is known that there has been hands-on gameplay and reveals at this press event, which leads me to wonder: are there going to be more PC releases formerly for Xbox soon?

Here's something that caught my interest:

Larry Hryb is a member of the Xbox team. Being a follower of his Twitter, I can tell you he's not the kind of person to make these kinds of teases to anyone, even YouTubers such as Steven Williams.

Could this mean a possible Master Chief Collection reveal for PC?

Let me know what you think.

Definitely a possibility, wouldn't be surprised.
