Questions: The rock paper scissor system (rbg) and stat bonuses

Posted

Two q's here, as the title says.

1) So I know red > green > blue > red and all that, my question is how big a difference does it make? Is it half versus normal vs double damage? Or is it like 75% damage vs normal vs 150% etc etc? Thanks!

2) Medals like aerith "increase your strength by one tier". First of all, what exactly does that mean? What are the tiers? Secondly, does this only effect for basic attacks or is it for skills as well in terms of a damage boost?

Thanks again!

I'm as clueless as you are when it comes to the multiplier for attribute matchups. xD

However, I can explain a part or two in regards to the specials of medals like Aerith and Pence and some of those kinds.

Yes, it applies to all forms of attacks. However, when it comes to medals that say "Raises Attack by one tier for two attacks", it means two 'hits'. So if you use, say, a Pence Medal's ability, which lasts for two attacks I believe. If you used another medal's ability like Stitch's multi-hit attack, the attack boost would only apply to the first two hits of that special. Whereas you could use Pence, then a Mickey's special that only hits once, and still get one more hit with a boost in strength.

I honestly don't know the %percents or anything, but I know that it's a significant increase! Back in the JP Unchained X, when I used Aerith's special, then my 5-Star Riku medal, I could chop a whole lifebar with just that Riku Medal! Yeah, it's THAT powerful! >:)

Hope that helps!

Rock on!

Thanks! :)

The raise Strength special lasts one round for all attacks following the power up. unlimited attacks for that round.

From Aerith* - forgot to add that.

I tried to do my own analysis of the multipliers, and the nearest I could figure was same colour (or type, if you will) is normal damage, dominate colour ranges from 150% to 200%, and weaker colour ranges from 70% to 80%. It varied depending on the medals I used, but I kept it consistent against all level 13 enemies. I redid the same quest several times and kept a list of the different damages done by different medals, then averaged them out. This was the result. My stronger medals did additional damage against all types, but was still consistent with the percentages. I only analyzed the wide attacks as well, vs the taps for single enemies.

By no means was this scientific or accurate, this is just what I found. I'm planning to do a more in-depth analysis of this and other things in the game eventually. Hope it helps you somehow  xD
