Promotion and release[edit]The game was first was announced in March 2015.[5] It was originally scheduled to be released in Japan on November 19, 2015, but was delayed and released on December 10, 2015 for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.[6] Japanese first-print copies of the PlayStation 4 version of included a digital PlayStation 4 copy of the first Steins;Gate.[7] The PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita versions of Steins;Gate 0 are planned to be released in North America and Europe in 2016 by PQube.[8] A Microsoft Windows version was planned to be released on June 24, 2016 in Japan,[9] but was delayed to August 26.[10] An animeadaptation has been greenlit.[11] The former part is in relation to the Visual novel release for the PS3 and PS4 which we are due this year. As you can see, the anime (which will be released some time after) has only been given the go ahead and no release date either in Japan or elsewhere in the world has been announced

July 5, 20169 yr The VN is out already in Japan and we get it later this year, but the anime never really had a release date. My guess is it will be out next year as the both the game and anime were announced at the same time originally. In the meantime however you should check out Steins Gate: Episode 23 β if you haven't already. For the most part it is the same episode as what aired in the first Steins;Gate anime, but using the concept of choice from the game it takes a different route and spirals on as a prelude to the upcoming Steins;Gate 0 anime.
