  1. ((Heeeere comes Jealous!Splendid)) Splendid suddenly decided he didn't like Lumpy very much. Actually, he despised him. No, no, he contemned him now to absolutely no end. He sincerely hoped he didn't make it on the basketball team now. He didn't think he'd bs able to handle looking at him without wanting to puke his mind out. How dare he try to make a move on Flippy! His Flippy nonetheless! That boy must have gotten hit on the head one to many times while having sex with his numerous "play mates" because that idea in itself was absolute madness. To try and pin Flippy and talk about his body as if it was a prize or something to be one, as of Flippy was an interment or tool used for pleasure (of course he was drawing assumptions by this point), was idiocy on behalf of the person trying something. Looking away awkwardly, Splendid narrowed his navy blue eyes. It was taking all his effort to not get up, find Lumpy and strangle him. The fact that he laid hands on Flippy made him taste bile in the back of his throat. "Oh. At least you put him in his place then...the creep..."
  2. ((Is it sad that I thought Splendid would be getting to actually change into Flippy's shirt and expose himself momentary and I got excited because of that )) Splendid blinked appreciatively at Flippy before feeling a sigh escape his lips, unable to stop it. How could Flippy piss off Giggles even more on the first day of school without letting what had happened cool over. It wasn't the fact that ge was worried about himself and his own well being. He was worried about Flippy getting in too much trouble. Big whoop if Giggles took it out on Splendid but Splendid wouldn't have Flippy getting stressed because of her inconsiderate behavior. But it was the comment about Lumpy that really caught his interest. Splendid didn't usually have anything against Lumpy. He was an idiot sometimes and a bit of a player but he was fairly decent at basketball, worthy competition for Sendid actually. But he didn't understand why Flippy would feel the need to punch him due to that... "The hell did Lumpy do?"
  3. "Hey. And, yeah, I do. Being wet isn't exactly my first thing on my list of comforts." Splendid joked, shrugging softly. He ignored how his stomach belly flopped when Flippy examined his bangs (they were just bangs for Christ's sake) and instead took the seat motioned for him. Everything was fine and dandy before he remembered exactly why he hadn't waited for Flippy in the first place. Cuddles that's why. Cuddles and how cursor Flippy smiled at him, how naturally the two of them interacted. It made Splendid internally scowl (which was quite amusing being he didn't even recognized how out of proportion his paranoia was blowing this out to be). But he realized with a glance over at Flippy that te teen had that look on his face. Not his look of laziness, no that look made his eyes darken brilliantly from the usual shade of emerald. And it wasn't his look of irritation, his eyebrows weren't quite pointed downward to make that adorable crease in his forehead to go along with his to die for pout. Splendid was completely oblivious as to how stalkerish that may have made him sound. "You okay?" The bluenette asked, trying heard not to force his cheerful tone in his face (Cuddles was still invading his mind like a plague of unwanted fire) as he leaned forward to get a better look at Flippy. "You look like something's on your mind..."
  4. I hate it when you're listening to a song you love dearly but it makes you cry everytime it plays and the lyrics hit you.
  5. ((I know. He has a deep way of looking at things to. It makes me more depressed to think that he'll...y'know...be lonely when he..-sniffs sadly-)) Splendid was out of the cafeteria before he even shut his phone, earning some strange looks as he sprint through the halls of Happy Tree High. He ignored the scolding of teachers telling him to slow down and not run in the halls, an actual breeze of cool air hitting his forehead full force. He had places to be now, rules and regulations just didn't apply to him at the moment. Flippy was waiting. He made it out to the track field outside without even realizing it was raining until his foot slid out from underneath him in a squeaky wet patch and he land in one of those massive puddles of water that looked as if they could have their own name for being some kind of mini-pond or something. Luckily, it wasn't muddy and only his head and someof his shirt were soaked to the core. He was fairly damp though. When he got up to brush himself off and keep going he was compelled by the small flash of navy green he saw behind the bleachers to ignore his wet appearance and go onward to his awaiting best friend. Besides, what hurt could a little water do? Splendid would do anything to meet Flippy. ((Iwouldcatchagrenadeforyou~)) He'd run across a thousand suns, through a million rainstorms and do it all over again to see that smiling face looking back at him. Finally, panting slightly, the bluenette came up to Flippy, hands on his knees as he looked up a him through his quite literally drenched blue bangs, a sweet grin on his face as he gave a quick salute to the fellow teen. "H-Hiya Flippy~!"
  6. ((Just like Splendid. Am I right? I'm firetrucking right.)) Splendid looked at his phone as Flippy replied and smiled slightly. Such a simple reply but with meaning to it only Splendid would understand--or at least he thought. Sometimes when he looked into what his dear friend responded back with he thought that maybe he was being a bit...stupid. After all, Flippy wasn't one to put secret emotions into texts of all things, especially not towards Splendid. But it helped the bluenette to think so. To think every small word that showed up on his cell-phone screen had meaning. He sighed, hitting his head on the ledge where he stood over looking the cafeteria. God he felt like such a sap. Without looking up he held the phone in front of his face, texting a reply to Flippy back rapidly. He blamed Giggles and Petunia for this newfound skill of texting without looking. Where are you right now? Maybe we can hang out now. I figure you're probably skipping right about now, yeah? Don't ask Splendid how he may have known that. He himself figured it was just a skill gained by being best friends with Flippy. Kind of like having a long time girlfriend. You always knew when she was on her period and so Splendid always knew when Flippy was skipping class. As he awaited a response he scanned the crowd to see Russell laughing with Sniffles and a shaky Flaky. They were the only ones who ever mingled past their mini, stereo typical cliches that Giggles herself had randomly set up. Splendid gave a barely audible laugh. If he wasn't friends with Flippy and wasn't so athletic he'd be down their too--actually learning a lesson or so about friendship and sticking together. He'd have more people to call true friends than just one... ((Poor Splendid being thoughtful~))
  7. Splendid was sitting in his free period before Lunch, lounging in the mainstream area for socializing in the Lunch room when his phone vibrated. The Lunch was separated into more, intricate sections than on the bus where the only 3 layers were Cool, Average, and Losers. In between these layers there were groups and locations where everyone was set to reside. In the Loser level there were your basic Nerds, Comic Book Geeks, and then your prep/jock wannabes who ended ruining everyones day with their attempts at moving up several layers. These kids usually were in the front of the lunchroom, not even located at tables save for the Nerds who had one table to spread their books out on the surface. Average kids were separated into Skaters, Creative kids, Trouble-Makers, and the very few Goths and Emos that barely existed in Happy Tree High. They remained on the side and throughout the central tables, a little bit on the steps leading up to the domain they weren't allowed to ever trespass. The Cool kids level where Splendid currently was, flipping his phone open. This area was the second level of the lunchroom with a main entrance leading out to the main hallway but specifically designed so that no one could come in. An easier way for the Cool kids up their to moditor who came into their section. Splendid reached his inbox, seeing that it was a message from Flippy asking him where he was. Looking out the enlarged bay windows to the left of the cafeteria, Splendid debated on answering. Which was shocking being he ways responded to Flippy's texts. After a moment of waiting he sighed, flipping the phone to it's keyboard section. I'm at the Lunch Room, figured I'd wait here in free period until Lunch for my next period.
  8. ((I officially love Flippy. BRB while I eat dinner ^^)) Giggles blinked, feeling a bit of her pride get shattered at that. But then, well then it reignited with anger. How dare Flippy say such inconsiderate, cruel, and untrue things about her. She readied her thumbs to give him an earful (eyeful really) of complaining to him that she knew would at least the scrape the surface of his thick head but wasn't given the chance as the bell rung. The shrill sound abruptly shook her from her anger and as everyone gathered their stuff and filed out of the classroom she shot Flippy a glare and gathered her things, stalking out of the room. ~ Splendid panted, wiping the sweat off his forehead as he exited the Locker Room of the Gym and Went along with the flow of the crowd. He wasn't intent on finding Flippy at the moment, which was odd. He was still a but sting from what he ha seen between the green haired teen and Cuddles. He hoped to God he was only imagining the sparkle in Flippy's eyes, that his smile really hadn't been as wide as he had thought. ~ Flaky prayed as the bell rang, glad to finally be leaving. This somewhat enjoyable class had now turned Ito what was most likely going to be the era of her end. She couldn't act, she couldn't be fluent in movements across the stage like Juliet was supposed to portrayed as. She couldn't do this. As the red head's stomach growled, Flaky was glad that she had Lunch next for 4th period and not another class. She hoped though that there was someone she knew in her Level she could sit with so she didn't look like a loner. Even though she really was.
  9. I don't know what you're talking about Flippy. The only thing I recall is her dragging me over to a sleepover every other weekend back in Elemantary School when I was to nice to tell her to shove off. Giggles typed back hastily, momentarily ignoring the insult as the teacher made a round around the classroom and she lifted her pencil to make it seem as if she was brainstorming a rough-draft for her essay. She already hated this teacher. Any teacher that had to walk around class and inturrupt her texting scheme was on her knock off list. Shed probably be another on the list of getting a rather nasty rumor spread about her on the last day of school like she had done last year to her music teacher. The woman had quit soon after that incident. Quote "quit". ~ "Oh no but you are, what's your name--Limpy, wait Lumpy, my apologies dear--. As I was saying you are the epitome of Romeo and paired with our little Flaky you two shall be a marvelous main actor and actress role." The teacher glorified, attempting to paint a picture in the class' mind while her eyes glowed a bit brighter. Flaky wanted to vomit. No, no, absolutely not. Ever since she was a child Flaky couldn't handle being in front of crowds. For presentations for schools or the mandatory chorus concert they had to do up until the 5th grade, Flaky had always managed to mess it up some way, somehow. So being Juliet was simply asking for disaster to come and strike a hole through the school's stage. But being the typical shy girl, she was tk bashful to admit to that, let alone tur ing down the main role. So she instead ducked her head down to her knees, her long red hair tickling the exposed skin between her skirt and leggings.
  10. Giggles rolled her eyes, giving a small string of curses under breath as she frowned. Flippy just didn't know when to stop being a jerk he? She knew how to be caring. Just not towards useless wastes of space like Flaky. Honestly that girl would be better off in an asylum or some shit where no one had to see her pathetic face ever again. They'd be doing everyone a favor if they disposed of her. I do now how to care! Just not for the likes of her. And why care after all these years of joining in on the torment? Don't tell me you're falling for that impracticable excuse for a girl! Giggles responded, a disgusted look crossing her features. ~ The teacher continued to waltz around the room as if she were performing, sending Nutty into a fit of giggles (Flaky figured because her jewelry sparkled like hard candy and that usually set him off). The teacher swooped down to Nutty's level, pressing a thin finger to his slightly stick lips. "This is no laughing matter young man. Roles are important and I already know who Romeo is going to be!" She resounded, her voice growing stronger with every syllable she spoke as she pointed her finger, landing on Toothy. He raised an eyebrow. "Me?" The teacher laughed nervously, shaking her head and moving her hand slightly to the left to--guess who, surprise surprise--Lumpy. "You. The fellow with the highly fashionable earrings." Flaky nearly let out an audible groan.
  11. Giggles felt the vibration against her thigh from her phone and gave an irritated sigh, clicking her manicured nails impatiently as she pulled out her mobile device. She read the text from Flippy and scoffed, shaking her head. Of course she was "still going on about it". She was still pissed about it, having already been on the end of a few snickers behind some obvious hands and malicious glares. Yes, I am. You're ruining my reputation because of your stupid trick. Why would you even to something so...heroic for a Loser like that? ~ The Drama teacher gave a significant grin, turning around with a dramatic spin ending with a hand on her forehead in an mocking way of feeling faint, the other hand on her heart as she spoke her voice in a mere whisper. Flaky watched in wonder as Toothy did with a "WTF" look. Talk about your oddball child through adulthood... "We will be going over the roles for the tragic play of..." She clasped her hands together, falling to her knees and motioning to the air with both if her hands no separated as if in an offering. "Romeo and Juliet~" Juliet. Flaky paled. She already knew this wouldn't end well if they were discussing roles. She was the only girl in the class...
  12. One of the many in Flippy's Language Arts class was Giggles who had been filing her nails blatantly in front of her desk, a tube of nail polish open and ready for use, the shade being a neon, hot pink. She smirked. It's what Flippy deserved after the stunt he pulled on the bus this morning. She loved how she didn't get caught yet he did. She hummed a soft lilt as all eyes landed on his uncaring frame. So maybe she had had a...talk with the teacher before class about Flippy and his mannerisms the teacher could expect. She had a motive and a reason, not like she was being horrid for no reason whatsoever. ~ Toothy shook his head, leaning back on his palms. The one good thing about Lumpy--sometimes he was just to stupid to realize he was Cool and who was Average. "Man you should know better than to fool around him." Flaky frowned. Why had Flippy bothered to fight with Lumpy of all kids? Even someone as low-class as her knew that Lumpy was an idiot and a player but no reason to hit him for it. Or had he done something else? Her thoughts were interrupted rudely though as her Drama teacher dropped the play book (which couldn't have been could for the binding) and quickly pushed aside Lumpy's hair in hearing his earrings jingle. A smile was drawn onto her face. "Oh they're splendid ((lolwhutwhere))! Where ever did you get them?!" She gushed before shaking her head and placing a hand on Lumpy's shoulder. "Nevermind with that--come, come sit. We have much to go over~" Flaky paled when she realized the only seat available was next to her. Oh God...
  13. ((Oh your Flippy is badass.)) Flaky was seriously regretting allowing her parents to write down "drama" as her Elective. Yes, she was finding she actually was taking a liking to her teacher. But she was, as fate would have it, the only female in the class. Which was awkward. She felt her ever present butterflies in a rage in her stomach as she hugged herself away from the Junior and Freshman teenagers. Her teacher seemed to not notice her uncomfortable appearance, to busy chippering around the classroom to care. She held a thick play book reciting line from it in fluent French, waving her hands about here and there occasionally glancing at the students to make sure they were listening. They were, they just had no idea what to say. Or what she was saying for that matter. The students were scattered here and there, mostly consisting of people she didn't really know all to well. There was Nutty who was sucking nonchalantly on a lollipop (which wasn't your average tootsie pop mind you). His neon green hair was messy and out of place like the rest of his attire, a few pieces of peppermint candy and gundrops sticking in the tangles. Flaky secretly wondered if they were actual pieces of candy or just really realistic clips. Next to him was Toothy, who had been (reluctantly) sitting with Lifty and Shifty this morning in a cramped three seater. His purple hair was pulled into a low pony tail, a few stray hairs whisking out of the hair tie's hold. His matching eyes bore into the wall behind his teacher's head. Flaky suspected he maybe hadn't wanted to be in Drama either. His gaze flicked momentarily to Flaky's and she looked away with nervous amber eyes. He was an Average borderline Cool kid. Couldn't afford to be caught staring. Especially bot during the teachers French introduction.
  14. ((Thank goodness ^^ Also, I sent you another message~)) Allie looked around the woods surrounding her, still winded and completely torn. She knew deep down she should go back, figure out what was wrong and see if she could fix it--the loss of her heart. But she didn't. Knowing and doing are two very different things you see? And if Daniel didn't want her simply because she could not feel then that was fine. She wouldn't go back. Allie felt her eyes narrow as an icy chill permeated the air around her form. She couldn't go back. So she walked forward, examining the area around her before catching a glimpse of something truly unique between the tree limbs, something she hadn't ever noticed before. A mansion, with an intricate gate and rusted hinges to match. It looked old and decrepit, like it had been breaking down for some time now. Allie vaguely wondered how old it was. As she came up to the gate she found it to be locked shut and no matter how much she pushed and pulled at it it refused to move. "C'mon now! Give me a break!" She yelled, crossing her arms with a huff. As she pouted a sudden sound behind her caught her off guard as she heard the crackling of feather light footsteps stepping on a fallen branch. Whirling around she saw odd creatures with a slight tinge of red to their bodies moving in smooth, fluid movements. They hovered still as she turned around, as if frightened, unmoving. "Wh-what are you?" Unable to speak, the creatures simply approach Allie until she was cowered against the gate, reaching out to her. "Hey! Leave me alone!" She ordered bushings further into the cold metal. The rusted gate snapped back but she didn't fall to the ground as she expected. At least, not immediately. Allie landed with a resounding thump in a pure white staircase in a building she didn't recognize to be one in Twilight Town. She...wasn't even in that World any more was she? "Where...am I?" Allie questioned, looking around for anything familiar--even those strange dancing creatures.
  15. ((I'll start of the first post. For feature references: Toasty: Endora, Neville, and Serenity Dagey: Anniken, and Zack AquaRoxmySox: Sylvia, Callen, and Louie Final Hearts 69: Dylan, Sam, Zephyr/Zepha Now let's finally get this RP started!)) The soft scratching of an ink dotted quill against aged parchment was the only thing carried in the gentle breeze that fluttered in between the bending blades of rich, emerald grass. A young female, the holder of the utensil, sat on a stony ledge jutting like a broken bone out of the Earth, just a little ways from the glistening blue lake a few meters or so away. Her long blond hair was tied up in a loose messy bun, her saphire blue eyes hooded with concentration as she focused on her writings before her, the ink seeping into the paper. The teen's lithe frame was hunched over as she wrote, blocking the burning sunlight from her vision as to not have her eyesight blinded or overwhelmed. The sun was known to be a little more blistering and dangerous during this time of year in Crescent Village... Exhaling a light sigh, the girl did a quick flick of her wrist, signing her name at the bottom of her journal entry as she looked up finally, shutting her eyes in content. Endora loved this kind of day, this life in general. It didn't matter that she her village feared her for her unknown coming of and abilities that even she couldn't explain. She was herself and that was how it was meant to be. Just like how Endor figured it was just meant to be that nothing ever happened in her peaceful little village--despite how reluctant it was to accept her. Rising to her feet, Endora stretched out her limbs (wincing as they cracked) and jotted happily to the lakeside shore of the flawless blue water. It was odd for a lake to be here of all places--scattered among the outskirts fields of Crescent Village. There was no water source that could possibly lead to the body of water formig what it was now. "But I guess that's just the way it is." She breathed, clasping her hands behind her back.
  16. Yes! I shall make the thread now
  17. Lol thank you for this. It has completely amused me to no end and made my day ^^
  18. Um, not exactly. It's more of an Alternative song done by a Pop/Rock band (though mostly Rock).
  19. ((Oh wow guys, sorry for my delayed post o_o This thread wouldn't load at all yesterday on my end so I could respond to anything...)) Allie soon found that Daniel wasn't going to help her once she came to his doorstep. When she knocked on his door, identical to every otter one in the development, his father--Hayner, answered the door. It still made her smile and chuckle when she saw how different the two looked despite being father and son. She supposed though that because Daniel had dyed his hair that was whyteir appearances looked so mix-matched. But in this instance she noticed something was wrong. She hadn't laughed. Nit even a sound of amusement in the back of her throat, and it confused her greatly. Why hadn't Daniel's father's appearance send her into a fit of giggles? "Allie? M-May I help you?" Mr. Graybe asked, obviously shocked to see her and taken by surprise due to her oddly colored hair. Allie couldn't blame him. Before she could respond to his inquiration, Daniel came up behind his dad. The blond saw his hazel eyes widen in shock and relief as he push his dad out of the way and caught her in an embrace. "Thank God you're okay, I thought....I thought..." He couldn't seem to voice the words and Allie thought she'd be touched by his loss of words because of how happy he was to see she was alive. Yet she felt...nothing. Her chest remained cold and empty as she struggled to feel anything towards Daniel. Love, adoration, the same thankfulness but there was nothing. When she didn't hig back Daniel pulled away, holding her by her shoulders to examine her, brow crinkled in thought. "Allie? What's wrong?" The female felt her lower lip quiver as his dad covered his mouth, shaking his head. He had figured out something had happened. "It makes sense...your new appearance after you...son," Daniel turned to look at his blond father, still holding loosely onto Allie. "She's a Nobody. They took her eart like they almost did to that Kairi girl I told you about." Allie froze, her lower lip quivering. What? She didn't have a heart? They had to be kidding! She couldn't be alive without a heart, without emotions! Struggling to breath, Allie felt something wrenching in side of her that she recognize to be something like sadness. But she just...she couldn't do it. No matter how much she willed it to happen, her what would be tears refused to flow. Daniel wouldn't even look at her. Like he was ashamed now of what his girlfriend had become. Gripping her fists at her sides she took a few steps back but the duo refused to pay her any mind. They didn't care anymore because she was, as they put it, a Nobody. Turning around, Allie fled, her blue hair flying out a bit behind her depsite it's shor length. Before she knew it she was out of breath and in the middle of The Forest just behind the outskirts of Twilight Town. "Wh-what?"
  20. Flaky watched as her response sent the Drama teacher into a flutter of delight as she hummed merrily under her breath, clapping her hands as she went. Her ratings jingled as she bobbed her head back and forth, trailing her fingers over the many spines of the thick and thin assortment of books on her crooked shelves--looking as if the whole structure was ready to collapse. Flaky was sure to make a mental note to avoid the shelves just I'm case. "Good, good m'dear. Do you perhaps enjoy Shakespeare and his touching stories of depression and forbidden romance?" The teacher was practically gushing with her words as she pulled out a thick, rose colored play book. Flaky gave a small nod. She ha read a few of the plays and seen them on TV, the only ones she was somewhat familiar with being Hamlet and Romeo and Juliet. Other than that she was really completely clueless when it came to the Arts. "I-I suppose so." Another squeal and giggle of delight resounded throughout the room and a few kids who Flaky was thankful to say she didn't recognize entered the room with the most bewildered glances to each other an then questioningly at Flaky. They must of been Freshmen if they were stupid enough to pay her any mind. Ducking her head she only gave a short shrug in response. "Then you'll love today's opening assignment~!" ((Fail reply on my end is a fail.))

  22. ((Aw! That's so cute of Flippy to do!)) Splendid was the first to exit the classroom and into the bustling halls of the school, followed by the other not-so-eager kids. As he left te class he vaguely heard the teacher question whether Shifty was alright. Apparently he still hadn't moved--to shocked with what he had been texted. He didn't seem to give her a reply but he heard scuffling which he figured meant Shifty was getting up to go. As Splendid made his way to Gym, he caught a glimpse of a familiar hat a top of a certain someone's head f green hair. Smiling he ran to catch up to him but froze when he saw who was with Flippy. He was with Cuddles and they were both...laughing. Splendid's slight jealousy bubbled in the pit of his stomach and he fell back slightly. He thought Flippy only smiled like that with him. Feeling slightly sour and hurt, Splendid instead re-directed himself to the Boy's Locker Room to get changed for whatever this Gym Period had to offer. ~ Flaky was the last to leave Math and head to her next class, clinging on to her books like they were a lifeline. She kept her head as she traveled down the familiar halls of her school, not willing to meet the eye of any surrounding students. She wasn't very socialable, nor was she on good terms with many people. Another reason she wasn't anticipating Drama this period. She wasn't going to know anyone in her class--she was sure of it. How could she? It was going to be all Averge kids and maybe one or two Cool kids at best. Flaky was the first in the classroom, sitting in the back of the oddly made room. There was no desks or chairs but instead plush cushions and couches all around the room. Her nose picked up the faint scent of insence and combined with the bright colors, rugs, and photos, the classroom looked like it could be a child's bedroom or a cheap fortune teller stall. Either one seemed to work but Flaky decided to go with the latter when she saw the teacher. She had a colorful maroon, gold, and green robe on with some sort of Celtic design, maroon slacks with a matching shirt and her hair was pulled into a loose bun, thick, glasses that magnified her eyes resting on the bridge of her nose that Flaky noticed she was constantly pushing up. Surprisingly, she wasn't old for a teacher's standards like Flaky had expected. She was young and prett despite her odd choice of clothing, definitely no older than 25. "Hello sweetie, are you here for the Drama course?" She asked kindly. The red head gave a shaky nod, sinking more so into the blushing red cushion she sat on.
  23. ((Ooooh Flippy is mad~ Where are the other guys in the locker room at this time )) Splendid practically leaped out of his seat as the bell rang, signalling class was nearly over, with nearly half of the class. Even though it was just the warning bell the teacher gave an irritated sigh, pushing her glasses up the bridge of her nose. She had been teaching this bunch long enough to k ow that the warning bell pretty much signaled free time until the actual bell so she sat behind her desk, sipping some of her coffee. The bluenette gathered his books and was the first to the door to wait for the class to let out. As he glanced around, ready to gallop out of the room, down the hall, into Gym he noted Shifty sitting oddly still for someone who was just busy texting. His thumbs twitched gently from under the desks but made no move to reply to whatever he had just been sent. He felt as though it hadn't been from Lifty being nothing to the twin said could silence the other. It only fueled them in to continue speaking. ~ Flaky jumped, dropping her pencil from freight as the warning bell rang, making the rest of the class alert enough to pack up their things and get ready to switch classrooms. As the students in her class scuffled about to get their thongs and her male teacher talked over them to tell them their Homework assignment, Flaky realized the only one not making any sudden movements was Lifty. Which was odd to say the least. She figured he'd be the firt one up and at 'em to go. Bit he was only staring transfixed at his cellphone screen. Flaky thought the better of asking. She had had enough experience with odd and queer today as it was. And upsetting for that matter... From next to her on her left side, Russell handed her back her ballpoint pen she had let him borrow for the lesson. He was always unprepared with a writing utensil--usually tk concerned about bringing his comics to read during break than something to answer questions with. Flaky gladly accepted it, when noting that his phone was glowing in his pocket, like he had recently used it, a smug smirk on his face. Flaky looked back at Lifty. Could Russell have something to do with his odd behavior? The red wad shook her head. No way, what would Russell be saying to Lifty? He usually minded his business about most things anyway... ((Feeling sleepy, I'll reply in the morning that way you can reply later if you have time. I need rest so I can learn that new song for you ^^))
  24. Splendid was actually faring quite horribly as the clock ticked by, now becoming more and more frazzled by the minute even though most of this females in his class found it positively adorable. He had gotten in trouble for not paying attention as the teacher coalled on him because he had been to busy staring at Shifty and wondering what he was texting about with his brother. Ironic isn't it? So he was forced to stutter and BS his way through a question that he was lucky he knew some information on. Thankfully it was enough to please the teacher though he was sure she'd be keeping a sharp eye on him now. Great, god forbid he really decided not to pay attention one day he'd be snapped at immediately. He ran a hand through his hair, slumping to lay on his desk top boredly, unable to bear reading the tiny size 8 text in his History book. He just wanted to get to Gym next period. Maybe then he'd get something of a workout into his day before try outs. The thought of try outs made him smile stupidly to himself. Not just because he'd be playing for his passion, but because his personal good luck charm (the one he didn't have to wear) was going to be present. Combining that with the red mask Flippy had given him when they were younger and he'd be all set to play! ~ Flaky flinched under the glare she received but didn't look away, attempting to instead shoot back the angriest look she could muster. He was all the way across the room (which was really only half-way across the room to be honest)--the worst he could do to her was flip her off and Flaky could tolerate that. It was the verbal insults that really brought her down and lowered her self-esteem. Speaking of self-esteem, Flaky could not say that she was looking forward to her next class because of it. Her mother and father had encouraged her to take her other Elective as Drama. They thought it'd be a good way for her to embrace her inner self and release any acting skill she may or may not have to open up her mind to new people. Yeah, okay. They obviously didn't realize her inner self embracement time was when she was alone; when no one could see her soar in her own way. But they'd manage to force the terrifying elective into her schedule and Happy Tree High had strict regulations on assigning students to other electives once the first choice was already confirmed. Flaky didn't like that rule.
  25. ((I assume they're in 3rd period then?)) Splendid had gone his separate way from Flippy--deciding to stay with him through 2nd Period as well after seeing the nauseating scene of Lammy. His stomach churned from such sights. Put simply, Splendid wasn't good with seeing massive amounts of blood like that. If it was in movies, fine. He knew that it was fake blood anyway. But if he could see or smell it vividly in front of him like it had been with Lammy it could send him to the stall puking. But he wasn't anywhere near Lammy now. He was in History with his somewhat interesting class. The thing was, he couldn't focus. Not because the class was boring--but because one of the twins (Shifty) was sitting just two seats away castling texting Lifty who was in another class. Splendid could only assume he was so calm because he hadn't known about Lammy yet. He prayed that was why he still held that god awful wicked grin on his face. ~ Flaky was sitting stressed in her Math class, one hand tangled in her hair, the other scratching down notes. But it was hard to do so when there was an empty seat next to her that would have normally belonged to Lammy. And just a seat away was a texting Lifty. Her tears still hadn't dried, occasionally slipping down her cheeks tenderly. Not that her teacher cared--Happy Tree High wasn't really all that happy anyway unless you were Cool or Average. Biting her lip, Flaky found that when she first came into 3rd period from her Private Elective (she said private because she was one of the few taking the class), Art, she actually had to contain the newfound fury that budded in her big heart at the sight of Lifty. He had no idea of what he and his brother had done to such an innocent child, her closest thing to a friend next to Russell and Sniffles. But she had managed to keep her trap shut, taking a seat and gripping her mechanical pencil so hard she was sure it'd snap.
