Rai sighed as he ventured onward and was soon in a strange looking town, walking through with thoughts in his head.("God this is bogus...being branded a L'cie has closed so many windows for me. Now I'll never have time for the perfect woman. Do I even know what kind I want? Well they have to be headstrong, smart, tall, quick thinker, slim, a challengeto deal with, and can defend herself.")Rai blinked as he watched Lightning walk ahead of him. ("Why in the name of Pulse did I discribe Lightning, Fang, and Saphira? Gah! Enough of that Rai..put your head back in the real world.")

"Sorry joe but your wrong...I never even landed with you guys." He added with a satisfied smirk, waving him goodbye as he followed Lightning and Snow. ("I am not even gonna ask how their names fit their element summons.") Rai thought to himself as he walked. "So Lightning...what are we doing exactly?"

Rai swiftly darted through the air as he chased down the flying beast that attacked the ship, noticing that the rider appeared to have vanished. ("What the?...could have sworn-") Rai then swiftly turned around, drawing his sword and deflecting the blade of a katana. "Not bad...you have gotten stronger since last time." Said the figure in the silver armor, vents wide open in its boots that produced jets. ("Thing can fly!") "Alright I had enough of you!" Rai said enraged, charging at the unnamed warrior and clashing in mid-air and it seemed as if the man let Rai clash. "So..you are beginning to question who you really are....you would be stupid to do so!" The armored swordsman then swiped his blade and knocked Rai away who recovered quickly. "You are a L'cie..a human slave to the Fal'cie given orders like a dog with a electric collar.....no choice to follow orders." Rai then vanished before his eyes and appeared behind him and knocked the armored man away, Rai staring him down seriously. Rai then found himself within the in between world again which was activated by the armored warrior. "Listen...whoever the hell you may be I don't care you have been calling me a L'cie this whole time...get this strait. My name is Rai Kuze! I protect my friends with blade in hand and I am master of my own destiny. I ama human!" Rai charged again and clashed with the man. "GURRRRAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Rai began to glow with a bright light as he pushed harder against his blade,the distortion in between world beginning to shatter. "Pushing your way back to reality through sheer will power....you cease to amaze me Rai." Said the silver warrior, vanishing as Rai's blade fell through where he once stood, Rai back hovering near cocoon. "He...escaped again!......he knows me!" Rai then flew down toward the crash site with a serious look on his face, looking at Joe and Lightning as she asked for someone else to come into town. "Ill go with you as well." "Nice of you to drop back in." Lightning scofed.

Rai looked back behind him as he noticed someone riding on the creature, narrowing his eyes slightly as the beast raced onto the other side of pulse. "Is it natural for people to ride on those?" Rai asked, pushing himself from the summon and using his Cyclone ability and began to soar through the air. ("Why the hell are you following me! WHY?") Rai screamed in his head, not saying a word to the others.

("You're right Joe.....but why do I feel that I never was a part of it.") Rai thought to himself as he walked up to a window to get a closer look, taking in a deep breathe before silently looking at his L'cie brand.

Rai took a thought about it somewhat, sitting down and flashing back. "Only that he stole a experimental suit of armor from Pulse...and I remember he is way stronger than me." He said, groaning a bit. "My powers are useless against that armor...and that sword is like a yard-stick long!..which is cheep."

Hope looked behind him as he noticed that Rai wasa bit quiet lately, since he met him Rai was headstrong and trying to make the light out of everything but now he was slowly turning into Lightning. "Hey Rai...you alright?" Hope asked quietly. "Yeah..just confused. My past...my future..its all unbalanced and dosent make sense Hope. Too many gaps in it and I have no idea how to fill them in. But...fighting alongside you all...it seems to be coming back to me." Rai then clenched his fist, smiling slightly.

"Guess its freekn final guys....we become stronger L'Cie...." Rai said, slowly walking ahead.

"I can't say the same." Rai said as he took off his glove, revealing a Lv. 11 brand. "Wait how did that happen!" Hope said, looking worried. "Because I refuse to complete my focus now." He muttered, taking a deep breath before continuing. "The whole reason that guy wanted to kill me was because he said I would be cocoon's destruction...and when I even had the selfish thought of doing so to save myself my fingers began to turn to crystal. That's how I know that what my focus is. And now this thing is progressing rapidly....." Everyone looked at Rai in shock. "He is right." Said a mechanical voice from above them, the armored man walking into view.

Rai scratched his head as he looked Joe over a bit, wondering something himself. ("So...their are other worlds out there?...is this why I could never find my real parents?...and these powers....they are different from everyone elses.") Sazh noticed Rai was looking down and off into space, a bit worried about the kid since he got here. "Hey Rai...you dontgot somethin totell usyourself do ya? Youvanished back there...where to?" "Heck is I know Sazh...whoever that guy was he used some power to put me into some inbetween world....like a paradox zone." He said, Rai looking over to Joe. "It was like I never left the room we were all in but nobody could see or hear me....and as I fought that man...I could see you all fighting too....I saw every possible outcome of your battles in an instant." "Your saying you say what could have been?" Fang asked. "Yeah...kinda I guess."

"Back off my friends!" A voice exclaimed. "Ice Prison!" A large ice wall began to form around raines and began to rise even higher, shattering to pieces in an instant."Hail storm!" The shards of ice hardened to that of steel and acted as tiny blades raining down on him with immense force. Rai jumped down from a high cliff and landed unharmed by Saphira, the tiny Moogle floating down beside him. "Go on buddy." "Okay Kupo!" The moogle began to turn into a deep brightlight that entered into saphria, creating a protective light armor that healed her first and reduced damage."Missed me?" He asked, charging in as he activated his lightning attribute. "Thunder Surge!"

Oh thanks for leaving Rai passed out on the floor XDD) After everyone seemed to be gone a tiny figure began to float over to Rai's unconcious body, waving a green light over him which healed him, Rai groaning as he began to get up. "Are you okay Kupo?" Asked the tiny Moogle, Rai leaning up against a wall. "Y-yeah...." Rai looked around. "Where are my friends?" "You were in the paradox world too long..they could not see you Kupo." Rai looked down as he held himself up. "Any idea which way they went?" "Down that way Kupo....I'm sure they have not forgotten you Kupo." Rai looked down and remembered what the armored warrior said.("You are the beast that will bring anend to cocoon!" "If you die your friends will be better off and will live.") Rai thought to himself, sighing. "Don't worry about it...." He muttered, walking in the opposite direction. "But they need you Kupo.." The little Moogle warned,Rai letting go a sigh as he looked back down the path they took, shaking his head. "No....they don't." The moogle looked sad for Rai and followed him from then on.

Oh thanks forleaving Rai passed out on the floor XDD

Rai's arm began to rise from his side and grab the figures arm, darkness errupting from Rai's body to form the armor again as they were blasted from the in between world, Rai landing on one knee and propping himself up with his sword as the armor began to fade he stared at the figure with a determined look to keep fighting, a black substance overtaking his eyes. "Hmph...next time." The figure said,vanishing from everyones senses. Rai could hold on no longer as he fell down to the ground from pure exaustion, the battle hejust endured too much for his current form.

"Gahh!"Rai yelled as he was tossed into the wall, the armored man gripping him by the throat. "Be glad...your friends shall live because of your death."("Wait...I...I can't.") Just then Rai lost it, not able to move of breathe.amongst all of them they somehow felt it, as if Rai just vanished from their internal senses.

Rai was tossed into a in-between world and he could still see his friends fighting as if he were still there. "Joe!...Lightning....Fang..cummon awnser me!" "They can't here you...or see you." Rai drew his sword and blocked an from behind him. "Who are you!" "You do not need to know. You will never complete your focus....the beast you will become shall shatter cocoon." ("What?..you mean I'm Raganork?) "Before you even reach that state..I shall end your life myself...that is my focus!" He exclaimed, noticing the L'cie mark on the crown of his helmet. "Come and try it!" (Tension Rising plays)

Rai slashed his way through a few of the machines before he noticed someone walking towards them,the tall man wearing bio-armor pointed at Rai. "The beast....." He reached on his back for the long katana he weilded which was infused with tons of gears and blue crystals. "Must die!" He charged with great speed and without warning, clashing with Rai as he could barely hold him off. "Beast?...w-what the hell are you talking about?" Just then a dark circle inscribed with a strange writing appeared under both of them, Rai vanishing with the strange figure.

"This thing creeps me out alright...don't know if we should use it." Rai muttered, crossing his arms as the voice called to him again, louder this time aseveryone else only heard a monster like screetch. "Gah!..thehell!" Rai yelled, holding his ears. "Looks like we're not alone down here." Fang muttered.

"That may be a focus set for you all...but I need cocoon to stay standing long enough to find my mother." He said sternly, walking ahead of them. Suddenly, a distorted sound came from the tunnel they were in, Rai turning back. "Who's..calling me?" Hope looked at Rai confused. "What?..you understand that?" He asked, Sazh. "Sorry kid..but what we just heard wasen't english."

"Don't have to apologize to me.." Rai said from behindhis dark mask, holding a hand overthe mask and the entire suit vanished in a cloud of black dust. "Not like you ment for all this to happen..I even don't know the whole story but I can just tell your a good person." He said, sheething his sword.

Rai remained silent as he held his arm outstreatched, a long black katana forming from the shadows, ready to take on the fal'cie if he had too himself but joe looked at him in dismay as the ship began to go down, Rai nodding and decidng to leavethe battle this once, sprouting black feathery armored wings as he followed the others.

Rai's La'cie brand shined through his armoras a purple crystal shot into the air, Rai using dark firega to shatter the gem as the serphent of water appeared, the summon now infused with Rai's dark power. "Dark Tsunami!" He yelled, the serphent blasting electrified water.

"Lightning! Saphira!" Rai called out after blocking the fal'cie's attack he plunged his sword into the ground as he used dark earth to raise platforms of rock that the Odin's could use as temporary stepping stones to hit the fal'cie directly in the face with lightning attacks.

"Fine then..let's take him down!" Rai said,his voice seeming deeper andeven darker. Rai clenched his fist and his sword began to be surrounded by a black mass which extended the handel and blade when it hardened creating a large warlord sword.

"Its bastards like you...who twist and turn the world for your own gain. We're not going to let you get away with it." Rai said in a bit of rage, placing his hand over his sword as a dark armor began to form against his will, looking as if he were a humanoid Fal'cie himself. He dashed of toward the large fal'cie, skidding on the ground to dodge a swipe from its large hand,casting a dark lighting attack to blast his handback. (All his element abilities can be used in this form but are dark versions)
