"Congrats, it looked like a pretty tough fight." She grinned "want Hahari to heal your pokemon" she was clearly doing this to somewhat mock his stubborness. Hahari seemed to catch on and was, in a way, mimicking Alexis' expression.

"No! Stop!" Exclaimed Alexis as she ran swiftly to the left to avoid the flames. He sudden actions caused the ledyba to fly upward.

"Well yeah. What else would we do?" Alexis replied crossing her arms "We probably should hurry up to Cherry Grove City before the night falls"

"Fine by me!" Alexis growled as she followed close behind Strike. Harari followed as well. "So are you taking on the gyms?"

"H-hey! Wait a minute! Your just going to leave me like that I don't think so." Alexis crosses her arms. "Im not a free medic. Since Hahari healed your pokemon you'll have to take us at least to Violet City, got it!"

She shrugs. "I just like it plus it reminds me of my mother that was the name she gave her first Pokemon." Alexis smiled before turning her attention back to the Chikorita. "Hey now I need you to use heal pulse on Zora for me ok" The pokemon nodded and turned to the Cyndaquil. Its leaf atop its head begins to glow.

"Right." She nods as she clutches the pokeball in her right hand. "Come on out." Alexis throws the pokeball into the air and from a flash of light the Chikorita appears. Alexis then kneeled down infront of the grass type pokemon. "Now that we can be more formal. Im Alexis a new trainer from Cherry Grove City." She explains to the pokemon. It crooks its head. "Never mind that. Im just glad to have you as my first Pokemon. As such I thinks its proper that I give you a name and Ive already thought of one." She smiles. "It'll be Hahari." The Pokemon seems indifferent.

Alexis picks up the pokeball and then puts her hands on her hips. "Well that was a bit rude. Just having us tell him about ourselves and then leaving without returning the favor?!" Alexis muttered. "Although I suppose I did learn more about you." She says looking at Strike

Alexis looked up and watched the sky cloud up as she began her walk home. "What is this? Some freak storm?" She growled as her tail coat began to flutter in the wind. Some leaves began to fly about her. The wind grew stronger and her hat was blown away. "Hey! That was my new hat." She growls as it blew away in the wind. She descided to make chase. Following it down the road and into the nearby park. The hat blew down into a hole beneath a tree. Alexis ran over and looked down the hole. "Huh? Its so dark I cant see anything! Who would dig a deep hole like this in the park!" She exclaimed, but before she could say anything else the wind blew ferociously, lifting her off of her feet and dropping her into the hole where a bright blue light shone in the dark. "WHAT IS GOING ON HERE! WHAT IS HAPPENING!" The opening in the ground then sealed itself up and Alexis kept falling into the blinding blue light.

"Im from Cherrygrove City. Ive come here to New Bark Town all the time to see new trainers leave to go on their journies." Alexis smiles. "Alot of them leave to take on the gym leaders... Im not one of them Im here to enjoy my travels. I think my goal will be to complete this pokedex..." She explains.

Alexis nodded and placed her pokeball in the machine. "Alright then. Begin the healing process please." She smiles

"Dont worry about it once my pokemon is healed up I have a move we can use on him." Alexis smiled. "Although I suppose I should give her a name..." Muttered Alexis. "I think I know what name to give her."

Alexis looks at the boy who appeared to have went on a tangent. "Um... Ok." She muttered as she recalled Chikorita. She looked towards Strike and shrugged before following Adam back into the Lab.

Alexis watched as the attack hit and Chikorita flew back once more. skidding across the ground and coming to a stop. Defeated. "I-Its over.... I lose..."

The Chikorita flinches from the psychic attack and is staggered but still being healed by the Terrain. "Chikorita listen up! We need rebalance this fight! Use Synthesis!" The grass type backed away and began to glow as it took in the light of the sun

The Chikorita charged again taking the flaming attack but clearly sustaining major damage. Another Tackle attack heads straight for Cyndaquil. Alexis tries to get the grass type pokemon to stop.

Chikorita was hit, hard and landed on the ground. It stood back up and readied an attack. "Uh. Chikorita what are you doing! I didn't give out a command!" The pokemon ignored her and charged towards the Cyndaquil with a tackle attack.

"If their going to start strong then so are we. Start it off with Grassy Terrain!" Alexis exclaimed having pulled out her pokedex to examine the moves of her pokemon. Chikorita responded by spinning the leaf atop its head. The ground beneath began to glow brightly and Chikorita's grass attacks grew in strength. (Both pokemon will also be healing constantly but not by much)

Alexis made sure she gave the other trainers outside some distance away from the battle before she called out the Chikorita. The grass pokemon landed onto the ground. "I apologize for not getting to know you first." she said to the pokemon who seemed to quickly realize the battle that was about to occur. It turned to face its foe and to Alexis' surprise it prepared to fight as if it wanted to battle.

I wouldn't mind that seeing as my current sprite doesn't match too well due to the clothing, It was the best I could find.

"uh....I-I suppose. I personally wasn't planning to do much battling as a trainer, but I guess It wouldn't be a bad way to start my journey." Alexis smiles. as she pockets the Pokedex and puts the poke balls in her other pocket. She then looked at the Pokeball holding the Chikorita. "Yeah lets do it!"

Alexis watched the girl leave before walking up to Professor Elm herself. "Hello. Im Alexis Newlands. Im here to pick up my first Pokemon." "Ah yes.. I do believe your the last one." The professor says to her. (Correct me if Im wrong) "Seriously! Aww... Oh well I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised I did wake up late." Alexis smiles. "Anyway I already know which Pokemon I want." "Well I suppose thats good." Elm smiles "and which one is it." "I would like Chikorita please." Alexis smiles. Professor Elm gladly gives her a Pokeball containing a Chikorita. In addition he also gives her 5 empty poke balls and hands her a pokedex. "Huh? Whats this for?" "Its for you to record data on the pokemon you see along your journey." Elm explained. "I see. alright then. Im ready to go!" Alexis smiled. "Thank you Professor. Ill be off now." Alexis then turned to the door and smiled at James.

"If thats what you want to do.... Im Alexis." She smiles before carefully stepping by him. "I really am sorry and I also apologize for scaring your Cyndaquil." she walks in seeing two dark haired boys with Totodiles. One seemed ready to leave. The other appeared rather comfortable on the floor. "U-Uh.." before she could say anything another girl came in exclaiming that she had arrived for a Chikorita. Immediately Alexis shied away patiently awaiting for the girl to obtain her pokemon first.

Alexis shakes nervously as the ember nearly missed her. "uh.... I-Im sorry." She whined absolutely horrified by the flames that nearly scorched her. "I-Im just here to get my first pokemon." She muttered nervously.

Alexis was running as fast as she could to New Bark Town. She had woken up late and felt that she would miss out on her chance for her first Pokemon. "How could I let this happen!! I set three alarms and everything!!" she whined as she bolted down Route 29. Eventually she reached New Bark Town and headed straight for the Professor's lab as she reached out for the door, it opened and she crashed into the boy who was exiting the building with a Cyndaquil.
