(Possible Spoilers) What did Riku saved Xion from?
Hmm.. Thanks. I think I'm just going to go with the idea that maybe Riku couldn't gather the strength to take out Xion himself and perhaps even stopped the memory restoration for that moment, in turn, saving Xion from erasure. If I remember correctly, he saw Xion as Kairi and that is probably why he couldn't bring himself to take her out and couldn't bear to see her disappear like that and so maybe that is why he saved her during that "headache" moment at Destiny Islands. I'm speculating that the "headache" moment was a sign of Sora's memory reaching 100% completion and awakening. I'm not sure how exactly Riku saved Xion or stopped the restoration but whatever. Eh.. just very curious to me lol.

(Possible Spoilers) What did Riku saved Xion from?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bh5OsgIz4Zo#t=7304 2:01:44 Xion said Riku saved her but he saved her from what exactly? The previous scenes, Xion was at Castle Oblivion searching for the truth about herself (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bh5OsgIz4Zo#t=5537). 1:32:17 Her next reappearance is when she, Roxas, and past Riku are having some sort of "headache" issue at Destiny Islands (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bh5OsgIz4Zo#t=5611). I'm guessing that's when Sora's memory was in the process of restoration? 1:33:31 After that, Riku appears at Destiny Island holding Xion (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bh5OsgIz4Zo#t=5732). 1:35:32 Namine in the next scene tells Riku that Sora's awakening would be greatly delayed because of Xion's and Roxas' existence (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bh5OsgIz4Zo#t=5747). The Riku/Namine scene is a flashback I think. 1:35:47 So I am not too sure what Riku saved Xion from exactly but I think maybe Xion (and Roxas?) were about to be erased from existence but Riku intervened and stopped the memory restoration? (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bh5OsgIz4Zo#t=6831) 1:53:51 Riku knew that erasing Xion and Roxas was the quickest way to awake Sora because that's what Namine told him in the flashback scene. Riku, desperate and at times ruthless, in his quest to awake Sora chose to delay the awakening. Riku was a lot nicer to Xion than Roxas lol. He gave Xion a chance to think it over. So is this what Riku saved Xion from or was it something else? Did he save Xion from being wiped out of existence in that moment? I am just very curious..

Question about the end of 358/2 Days...
Lol "collateral damage". That just sounds disappointing. I think it should be obvious that Ventus would somehow wake from his sleep eventually in KH3 but I also hope that at least Roxas or Xion makes a comeback too. It's even better if both can somehow come back. I've realized how tragic the story has become, especially considering what happened in 358/2 Days and BBS, so I hope it ends with a "happy" ending. I also know that Nomura said KH3 isn't really going to be the last KH game in case anyone misunderstands me.

I see. Thanks for clarifying.

Question about the end of 358/2 Days...
Yea I think I'm pretty much caught up with the story now. I already know what happens in Birth by Sleep too. I've watched the cutscenes for 358/2 Days and CoM and also read and watched BBS story. This document (https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B8cPyvE2GTjOMzE4MTVlZTctMjE5Yi00YzAzLWJjZTAtZTllODY2OTc2MTMx/view?hl=en_US&sle=true) also helped me a bunch. Hmm.. maybe I did forget the little details during my playthrough of KH2. I haven't played it for a while so that would make sense. Anyways though, thanks for helping me clear it up .

Question about the end of 358/2 Days...
Oh so Namine did take part in changing around Roxas's memories. Alright I understand now. Ooh so that's what it meant by "digitizing". Yea I was thinking it was like some sort of "Matrix" program to put Roxas into but it's pretty much the same idea I think lol.

Question about the end of 358/2 Days...
Ah I see. So after Riku beats Roxas in "The World That Never Was", DiZ shows up and "digitizes" Roxas? I don't understand the term "digitize". What do you mean by that? At first I thought that maybe Namine temporarily erases Roxas's memory. Thanks for the clarification though. No I'm actually not new to the series. I've been playing KH since my childhood. My biggest problem I have with the series is the story is very hard to understand because the games are spread across so many platforms. I've played KH1 and KH2. However, right now, everything is beginning to fall into place and I'm understanding more now. I'm still asking for the little details such as this question I posted. Thanks again. I played KH2 already but was always confused about why Sora was sleeping in the chamber in the first place. Now that I watched the 358/2 Days movie from KH 1.5 and the cutscenes for CoM, it all makes sense now.

Question about the end of 358/2 Days...
Does anyone know why at the end of 358/2 Days Roxas just wakes up in bed without his Organization robes and forgets about everything that just happened? I know the end is the beginning of KH2.
