I rate this game a 9. I know that the story is a little rushed, but I actually enjoyed the gameplay and the plot's complexity.
Gameplay:
The commands in this game are more flexible than in Birth by Sleep. For example, you can preform Sonic Blade and Ars Arcanum in mid air. The flowmotion can get overpowered, but it is enjoyable if you use it in moderation. The dream eaters are make great allies since they grant specific commands and different abilities. The noticeable flaw for me is the drop system. I think that the game should have given the characters a longer playing time.
Plot:
The plot of this game is a little complex. It can be a problem for someone who has not really played Kingdom Hearts that much. But I actually like the overall plot. The plot demonstrates the development of Riku's character and the imperfections of Sora's actions. The Disney world portion of the game was confusing for me since Sora and Riku were in different places. Despite the short length, the storylines of each Disney world stayed true to the movies. What I like most about the plot is its climax. I will not reveal anything, but I can say that the final stages of the game are shocking and exciting.
Overall Dream Drop Distance is one of my favorite Kingdom Hearts game. It's definately my favorite bridge game, and I'm glad I have pruchased it!
