I'm in love with a fairytale, even though it hurts

I don't know if there's already this topic but... So, does Kairi cares about Riku? Yeah, the destiny islands trio are best friends, but are Riku and Kairi best friends? It's pretty obvious that Riku cares about her (as we can see in KH1) but does Kairi cares about him? Like before the storm, she tells Sora that Riku has changed. She also says to leave the islands just the two of them, and then says "Sora, don't ever change.". Like... I felt awkward about Riku in that scene... Or in KH2; when she remembers Riku and the boy she can't remember, when she talks about Riku, who's the only person who she is really sure that existed, who's been disappeared for a year or more, who knows if he is in danger, she just says: "He's far away. But I know we'll see him again." even Selphie said she missed him. But when she talks about Sora, who in Kairi's mind could have or could have not existed as Riku, she seems more concerned about him than Riku. It's kinda unfair, I guess. Maybe I'm just overreacting but I never seen Kairi worry about Riku. What do you guys think? (sorry if I have some mistakes. It's the cellphone ) Well, it's not a shipping-thing, just a thought about Riku and Kairi's friendship...

YES!! It's so cute and funny and SO MANY FEELS. I already read all the chapters (online cuz I'm poor) though I'm saving money to buy the manga volumes D8 but also I have to save money for KH 2.5... It's really hard omg ;_;
