The international version of Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ has posted a notice letting players now that during an update on November 24th, 2016, adjustments will be made to avatar appearances in order to make character faces appear more natural. An English walkthrough of Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ quests 601-615 taking place in Castle of Dreams is now available. Currently, these quests are only available in the Japanese version of Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ, though it has previously been teased that Castle of Dreams will make it's way into the international version sometime in 2017. From now until 11/24 at 11:59 PM (PT), a new Epic Medal Carnival and a brand new Meow Wow medal event will be taking place! The new Epic Medal Carnival features an Illustrated King Mickey medal as well as new Xehanort, Master Eraqus, and Vanitas medals! After concluding maintenance at 3:00 AM (PT) on November 10th, 2016, the international version of Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ was upgraded to version 1.2.1, bringing a lot of new features and quests to the game, as well as a new campaign to celebrate 5 million downloads worldwide and Mickey Mouse's Birthday. Though it is not mentioned in any of the notices, there have been 25 new story quests added to the international version of Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ! So don't miss out on your opportunity to play those new quests as well as gain some orichalcum. The biggest update to the game is the new Nova system (known as the Burst system in the Japanese version of the game). Nova is a new type of attack that players can use once they have unlocked the Special Attack Bonus of at least one medal. The Nova attack can only be used once per quest or Raid Boss Battle and can be activated by a button to the top right of the screen. Nova attacks can also be leveled up either by unlocking the Special Attack Bonus for the first time for a medal in your album or maxing out the Special Attack Bonus for the first time for a medal. KHUχ has reached 5 million downloads worldwide! From 2:00 AM (PT) on November 10th, 2016 until 11:59 PM (PT) on November 20th, 2016, all quests will cost 0 AP! In addition to that, all players will receive 3,000 jewels after 4:00 AM (PT) on November 10th and all players who log in between 4:00 AM (PT) on November 18th, 2016 and 4:00 AM (PT) on November 25th, 2016 will be gifted a Timeless River Mickey Medal! Several updates have also been completed for the user interface, damage caused by status ailments in battle, how damage caused by Special Attack bonuses is calculated, and other minor bugs. Could be scan quality I suppose but I think she looks quite nice! Not quite as beautiful as the opening cinematic, but that's to be expected. However, the character models looked much better in the TGS BbS 0.2 demo in comparison to the E3 one so I'm sure everything will look great in the finished product.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue was given a 1 page spread in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in Japan. The page most predominantly features the new model of Aqua used in Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue as well as a few screenshots of gameplay, the opening cinematic, as well as a screenshot of a never before scene taking place in the Dwarf Woodlands world in Birth by Sleep 0.2 -A Fragmentary Passage- with Terra and Ventus making an appearance. In this particular screenshot, there seems to be a difference in Ventus's outfit, as it shows a different color scheme for his jacket and seams compared to his default outfit, as you can see below. All players who purchase jewels from Oct. 27th until 11:59 PM PT on November 1st will get bonus jewels on top of their purchased amount. The amount of bonus jewels goes up as the amount of jewels purchased goes up, starting with an extra +10 jewels and going up to as many as +1,300 jewels.
