Following the conclusion of maintenance at 12:59 AM (PT) on July 20th, the global version of Kingdom Hearts Union χ[cross] has updated to Version 2.2.0. Update notes can be viewed below. Until July 23rd at 23:59 PT, players can take on Union Cross to obtain the Red Pirate Bandana avatar part! This avatar part grants a +4 Rare Enemy Perk, and the chat phrases "See ya!" and "C'mon, guys!" are rewarded for clearing their respective male and female Cross Boards. There are a total of four Cross Boards this time, all of which are available from the start. Be sure to take advantage of bonus hours for more rare enemies, as well as the 30-minute Extra-Hard Boss Time periods at 7:00 and 11:00 PT for more coins! A Raid event is also ongoing this week. Defeat the Blue Trident Tail raid boss for coins, which can then be exchanged for rewards such as the Arabian Prince and Arabian Rose avatar parts! Raid Boss Bonus Hours are at 2:00 AM, 8:00 AM, 2:00 PM, and 8:00 PM PT (9:00, 15:00, 21:00, and 3:00 UTC), in which raid appearance rates double, LUX received from raid bosses double, and raid boss level increases quicker. The Arabian Prince: Fez and the Arabian Rose: Headband can be obtained in this week's Party LUX Rankings, and both avatar parts offer a +3 Skill Perk. Additionally, the solo LUX ranking rewards include Magic Gems, so take advantage of this raid event and aim high! For VIP purchasers this week, part two of Illustrated Vivi's premium quests is now available! Clearing all seven of these quests offer a total of four Illustrated Vivis and 1400 Jewels. Illustrated Vivi // Upright/Magic // Guilt Tier 5 // AoE // 0 SP Cost // atk+3 and PSM atk+3 for 3 attacks, 5 SP recovery VIP this week also offers another KH3 Sora EX medal as well. Those seeking more Gems to upgrade their Keyblades may find the current Gem Deal useful, which includes three separate banners for Power, Speed, and Magic Gems. Each pull costs 1500 Jewels and guarantees three Power, Speed, or Magic Gems, depending on the banner pulled from, one Tier 4 or higher medal, and four medals of 4* rarity or higher. These can only be pulled from once a day, and the campaign runs until July 19th at 23:59 PT. [7/18 Update] Maintenance for the v2.2.0 update is set for July 20th (PT), during which Party LUX changes will go into effect. Players who have been incorrectly awarded the "No. VI" title for clearing Saix B's 13th quest will have the correct title ("No.VII") sent to them on the 26th (PT), and all players will receive 300 Jewels on the 20th (PT) as compensation for the recent notice errors. Another medal has joined the EX medal set in the global version of the game, and this time it's the Axel Art EX medal! He will only be obtainable in this deal, open from 7/7~7/20 at 23:59 PT, until announced otherwise. Axel Art EX: Reverse/Speed // Tier 5 // 2 SP Cost // AoE // S atk+3 and enemy S def-3 for one turn, stronger with more HP This deal guarantees at least one Tier 4 or higher medal, and it will come with one to three ability dots already filled. There is no draw guarantee for Axel Art EX, but if he is pulled, he will arrive with three ability dots already filled. Remaining medals will be at least of 5* rarity or higher. Furthermore, players who pull an Axel Art EX by the end of the campaign period will receive a Mickey & Brooms medal! Qualified players will receive this prize after July 24th (PT). Fifteen new story quests were added to the Japanese version of Kingdom Hearts Union χ[cross] following maintenance on July 8th (JST). First of all, the Key Art #9 medal is available to purchasers of the VIP Jewel pack this week, and clearing all seven quests yields a total of four Key Art #9 medals and 1400 Jewels. Next week's VIP Quests will include another set of four Key Art #9 medals. In this set, you'll need to avoid running into enemies and be on the lookout for shortcuts to the target. A new update for the multiplayer function also arrives, offering the Sheet Music hand accessory avatar part! After launching in the Japanese version of the game last month, the anticipated Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] update to the global version of Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ[chi] is set to go live after today's eight-hour maintenance--just in time for the game's first anniversary! The app can currently be updated via the Google Play Store or on the iTunes App Store, but note that maintenance is not scheduled to end until 4 AM PT on April 5th. This new EMC, available until April 17th PT at 23:59, brings two powerful Reversed medals to the game, Dark Riku and World of Chaos! Though they are not guaranteed within a set number of pulls in this EMC, both medals will come with three ability dots already filled if pulled. There is also a chance of pulling one of the new medals with a Status Boost, in which the medal will have +1000 base Strength and Defense (stats will be highlighted in yellow instead of white). Be sure not to fuse a Boosted medal to a normal medal, or the bonus will be lost! Today's update in the global version of Unchained χ--soon to be rebranded Union χ--brings a mini-High Score Challenge and a daily draw for two illustrated medals! It was also announced earlier today that the Pre-Registration Campaign for the upcoming Union χ update has reached 60,000 pre-registrations, so all players were gifted a Fantasia Mickey B medal and will be gifted 6,000 Jewels, along with seven Sora&Roxas medals, at a later date. To celebrate the release of the live-action Beauty and the Beast movie, all quests will cost 0 AP from 3/17~3/26 11:59 p.m. (PT)! In addition, a Beauty and the Beast High Score Challenge Event is being held until 3/23 at 11:59pm PDT. Players can win the Beast HD medal, which is capable of Tier 5 Guilt, gives a +3 P attack buff for one turn, and strikes one target with five powerful hits for 3 SP. Bonus medals are obtainable from the ongoing Epic Medal Carnival and the Illustrated Belle & Beast VIP quests. Lastly, the Beginner's Deal offers five Epic medals with multi-target special abilities, two of which will come in their 6* form and will have three special ability dots filled. This week brings the monthly Organization XIII event, featuring Xaldin! Clear these set of thirteen quests and their challenge objectives for his hairstyle and Xaldin B medals. Xaldin B is a single-target Reverse-Speed medal that deals more damage if set in the 5th deck slot, at a cost of 4 SP. Purchasers of the Weekly Jewel Extravaganza this week can unlock the quests to obtain the Illustrated Belle & Beast medal; a total of four of these medals can be obtained along with 1400 Jewels. The Illustrated Belle & Beast medal deals gives a +3 general attack buff for the turn, deals five powerful hits, and removes status effects on all enemies for a cost of 5 SP. A Japan-themed event has also commenced and will stay until 3/26 11:59pm PDT. Defeat Japan-themed Heartless for coins and exchange them for the Happi avatar sets, along with Magic Mirrors, Chips, Dales, and other boost medals! The Happi Coat: Gloves accessory also carries a +2 Rare Enemy Perk. Lastly, the Daily Jewel Challenge returns this week! There will be seven quests, for a total of 1400 Jewels.
