because as a thiccy chested boi I have places to be when giving someone the insert generic side quest item here and if you're gonna make towns big you have to let the player go through them quick personally Remake and Rebirth let you do this unless you're in a shop

just let me sprint in towns

hey if they keep it that'd be nice, XVI is a great looking game

interesting looking back that does make sense the particles weren't UE4esque

isnt 16 using a modifed UE4? like it's UE4 but it was changed to fit what 16 was going for it's not Luminous

the 30fpsish on graphics mode isn't the worst it's very much fine and playable but sometimes it gets in the way when you're running in the field and that's when it matters if im in a town or something whatever i like pretty things what gets me the most is, how did FFXVI do things differently than Rebirth given same company and mostly similar engines

yeah, i agree with you there

so much of it takes place in low lighting / at night

which is probably why Remake looked as good as it did

the game looks it's best when it's evening / night time

it does matter when im in an elevator or climbing stairs and Cloud looks like he's seen war (which he has)

and i know the reason is cause the world and textures took priority over models

im like, the heck happened here

Like normally id be like eh whatevs, but after Remake on PS4 of all things, and then going to PS5 in the same engine but with more power

so it does do that, i wasnt sure but i felt like that was the case totally, for the one beach section

cause it's hard to take Aerith / Tifa seriously in performance mode when it looks like they put too much lotion on their face

otherwise keep performance mode

i play Performance - Sharp, but i try to put on Graphics when im in towns and story sections but i forget often lmao probably, but it's funny cause Remake part 1 did plenty fine with this imo
