Type-0 l'Cie are a bit different from the ones in XIII that everybody's familiar with. They serve the Crystal willingly and each get their own unique power that will help them fulfill whatever the Crystal wants them to do. (In the end, the focus always relates to protecting the Crystal, even if the power they were given also benefits everyone else. One could say that the Crystal itself represents pride. Huehue.) It could give them strength, make them smart, give them the power to control monsters, etc etc. Will this information be relevant? Who knows. But it's worth knowing, just in case. lol

So, like, now I'm making an assumption on an assumption so it's getting worse, but... Let's assume that's right. What if his focus was to keep the Crystal safe? (That's one of the main objectives of Class Zero.) So he sets up this whole plan just to protect the box's contents. Once its future is perfectly secured, he turns to crystal and sublimates (shatters) and gets reincarnated. Then I guess it's Demyx's eternal struggle from here on out whether or not he submits to the Crystal to reclaim his power. .......This could be fanfic territory. I've just had this thought in my head and I'm like... Wow. Neat.

I'm thinking crystal mainly because of this So the box disappeared right? Like the crystals. Then reappeared after the future was changed by the light of the past. Luxord said that the box contained "hope", and that's how the crystals are always referred to. So... Maybe?? You'd wanna seal that bad boy up real good because they can turn ppl into l'Cie. They can also erase people's memories of the people who die in the war, so it reminds me of how the MoM erased the wielders' memories of the keyblade war. We never did get an explanation for that. Oh yeah, "May your heart be your guiding key" is the new "May the Crystal guide you." Evil l'Cie Demyx, 1000x stronger than he already was. lol 5 munny says the Gazing Eye is a l'Cie power. Only 5 munny tho. I'm not very confident. lol

My best guess right now is a crystal. But it's hard to come up with anything that makes sense with Luxu's reaction. ("But WHY?") I used to think it'd be the MoM's heart or something. Could it be something as vague as "memories"?

You know how Xehanort was able to control the structure of Scala in his boss fight in KH3? And how there were those red summon circle things? I'm wondering if the entirety of Scala is some kind of summon like Alexander. Or something like that. Like the whole thing was designed to be moved and controlled that way. Maaaaaybe. You could be on to something there. Versus XIII was referred to as "A fantasy based on reality." At one of the early presentations of Agito XIII, they said that its story would "unfold on the other side of reality."

They don't show what it looks like when the world restarts in Type-0, because I assume it takes many, many years for it to reach the same point again. But it always ends up looking similar.

I forgot the most obvious thing, maybe bc I've shared it before, idk. The clock tower was a window in Akademeia. At first I was like "omg, Daybreak Town was Akademeia" and... Maybe? lol But it's probably there just to say that Daybreak Town represents Akademeia in general. But who knows. The world had already ended when the MoM was young, right? So Daybreak Town might've looked totally different. In which case... I would love to see a place that looks startlingly similar to Akademeia.

ANYHOW, make of this what you will. I'm always happy to share more of my obscure Agito XIII knowledge. In my quest for answers, I've become something of a historian.

Another EXTREMELY FUN piece of info: The Agito mobile game was supposed to create a new ending for Type-0, but the game was shut down only a year after it started, so they never got to that ending. It took place in the past and the Player characters were supposed to become the true Agito to save the future. (It's the "light of the past.")

Joker technically didn't have a face until the Agito mobile game (because he was always wearing his hood), so I'm going to pretend that that's what young Luxu looked like. More fun info: It seems like the Foretellers match the powers/virtues of their respective Class Zero members than the sins they're named after. Ignorance, Suffering, Kindness, Tranquility, Knowledge, Wisdom, and Action in that order. In case you've never played Type-0... Class Zero aren't exactly gooood guuuys. Mother manipulated them, so they did a lot of bad stuff - but they did it with pure hearts while trusting in her. They were aiming to become the world's savior (Agito), but Agito is also referred to as "999" (666 lol) to imply that the "savior" is actually something demonic like an antichrist. Hence... Foretellers named after sins.
