if the novels contradict the games in any means, the games are always priority over the novels like i adore the history and sympathetic angle that the novel gives to vanitas, and it seemed to just be extra backstory on its own, but now that there's an implication that vanitas and Darkness might be one and the same, all that history in the novels about his connection to ventus is no longer relevant because the games have begun to say otherwise. its interesting though, bc the novels go in to introspection and exploration about scenes that we don't see in-game, and probably never will. like oh, we're gonna go back to the 4 years between xehanort creating vanitas and the start of bbs, and explore that period of time for vanitas? probably not, so having the novels is really nice. but also like. the games write the story at the end of the day

i feel this Hard lmaooo.. like the novels are only secondary canon, so i don't want to take them at 100% face value for theories, but both the kh3 novel and the character files/stories we got translated last year imply that ventus and vanitas remember their time in the ux era, though the games so far have done nothing to suggest that ventus remembers beyond having him be welcoming to chirithy. its a Time lmaooo

also skuld's powers arent really star based, she just has star motifs, and everyone in union cross has that i think again, union consistently replaces iconography with stars

ye ik there's a theory that repliku in san fransokyo is different from the repliku in the kbg, however, because of the distinct difference in their personalities SF repliku is calm and collected while KBG repliku is erratic and provocative some ppl thought it was data riku then there's the fact that maleficent doesn't know where to place him, but she knows she knows him.
