like it would've been very stupid for microsoft to literally make their console only work on flatscreen vs after most people bought crt tvs in 2005

yeah in the early 2000 its understandable that people were using crt tv's afterall flatscreen tvs were rather expensive but, once we got to mid to late 2000s i would say people got the flatscreen tvs

I know Though kingdom hearts 2 was relased like a year before ps3 came out... so they probably componsated for people with flatscreen tvs

2005 though? that was the year the xbox 360 came out ik kingdom hearts 2 came out before a crt tv wasn't made for an xbox 360 that's something for sure people did get wide screen tvs at that time even more bizarre kingdom hearts 2 in pal regions got the game in 2006 which btw was the same year the ps3 came out and the 7th gen systems were not made in crts in mind so people would have gotten wide screen tvs at the time

and kingdom hearts 1 was a rather more flatform heavy game and faster controls platforming would've been to slippery heck the physics engine wouldn't work that well with faster gameplay you can see it with the rom hack being critical mix which speeds up sora however, it also makes movement more clunky as a result the controls in mario 64 itself is fine its just the camera that is a bit outdated

when you compare it to magic True i suppose this was kinda their first true big 3d game with such controls

to me it was just a tiny bit too slow also attack combos are kinda shit

hot take kingdom hearts 1 combat sucked even back when it was first released ik it was 2002 but, seriously they couldn't have made the combat a little bit faster? you could argue it was an "Early 3d game" but, i would say bruh mario 64 was released in 1996 that kinda made the standard for controls in a 3d space kingdom hearts 1 got released 5 years after

and this zombified sora casuing zombie like heartless to show up and corrupt the pure 100% none emblem heartless like shadows and neoshadows terrorizing the rest of the worlds having roxas xion and axel the ones to save the worlds during the point when the rest were trying to find sora in the events of kingdom hearts 4 leading to the world that never was in a rusted rotton state the place that they served the organization turned to a husk of itself completely empty
