Yea i think Square enix are aware of the backlash from gamers of the annoucement of the death of physical games

like them delaying the game would actually probably hurt its success

and to not be able to actually own the game

to have fans wait 7 years between the last kh game

it would be a slap in the face

is the difference between being able to own this game or not

the difference between the game being released in 2027 and 2028

them delaying the game means that we won't even own the game

remember that sony is disconintuing physical games after that year
