  1. square enix literally lost money by doing that i can't imagine they even got a profit from that tbf square enix itself is falling off
  2. for a 20th anniversary the fact they revealed this in the smash reveal for sora and then revealed it being cloud versions
  3. the cloud versions are a slap in the face for kingdom hearts fans
  4. i believe so just the fact sora and riku are put in their kh1 attire in ddd says a lot actually nvm it was a misconception @sora_cloud_claudekenny_2b_spyro yeah people had theory of it but its wasn't actually confirmed though but, it would've been nice to have kingdom hearts 1 on 3ds think about it there isn't really a good official way to play kh1 on a portable system and could you imagine if kh1 did have a remake on the 3ds with 3d feature
  5. knowing that kingdom hearts dream drop distance was meant to be a kingdom hearts 1 remake, it makes me wonder if kingdom hearts could've been ported to 3ds i believe it could've been possible considering graphically the og 3ds was about the strength of a ps2
  6. 358/2 days battle system is the clostest to the main games battle system on an handheld it literally is the regular kh battle system except there is no mp and magic are like limited use items also i like the music of the game: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/493890345751412737/1241255253232320562/Totally_the_world_that_never_was_theme_from_358_over_2_days.mp3?ex=66498889&is=66483709&hm=b36cc87105dde356197c76652a0585eb2f4c49143b36b8072d18ed10c3332c48&
  7. i am saying in also a gameplay standpoint
  8. Hot take, the gameplay of kingdom hearts 358 days/2 is actually pretty good ik the controls might be clunky but lets be honest its all because it was on the ds which any game that used the dpad for 3d movement was going to be clunky anyways mario 64 ds literally is another example so its not fair to say 358 days/2's controls are garbage and janky because that's just the console itself which begs the question why the hell didn't they just make the game on the psp? also it would've been warented for kingdom hearts fans to get the console considering there would've been 2 kingdom hearts games on the handheld hell recoded should've been on the psp as well
  9. btw does anyone have the kh2 soundfont?
  10. btw does anyone here have the 3ds version of dream drop distance with the circlepad pro how does it control?
  11. where did you get the font?!
  12. i wish square enix will actually use it more for the side games and leave unreal engine for the mainline games cause fr it looks good
  13. i will miss that old ps2 engine artstyle look
  14. very true. though there are people saying that the 3ds is weaker than the psp even which i find ridiculous ddd is a much more graphics intensive game than bbs
  15. well tbf there is a lot of enemies on screen a lot of the time and the fact some of the rooms are quite massive and are rendered in game
  16. oh for sure at higher resolution yeah i am just saying for the 3ds version a lot of people say that the 3ds is weaker than the ps2 in overall specs or can't produce graphics as good as ps2 when kingdom hearts ddd is literally rendering basically the same level of detail and poly count with also rendering much larger rooms than the ps2 kingdom hearts games and the framerate is generally pretty consistant too with the 3d feature off as well and there isn't too much frame drops in 3d mode either which is extremely impressive its rendering not only way more than the ps2 did with the kingdom hearts games on it but also doing it at an okay framerate even with the 3d feature on tbf the framerate does chug a good amount where there is a lot of enemies on screen with 3d feature on however, its impressive enough it could maintain as well as it does
  17. it looks as good if not better than the ps2 kingdom hearts games
  18. also ddd on 3ds still looks pretty good for a 3ds game tbh
  19. the problem with the ps4 version is that the petting mechanics and the minigames are much more tedious to do as a lot of people found
  20. the new 3ds's have a second thumbstick well a bit small but its usable for a camera
  21. well tbf dream drop distance was released before those 2 though gen 6 of pokemon was the first to have that petting mechanic doesn't ddd has circle pad pro support? yeah it does so yeah you can have full camera control in the 3ds version
  22. DDD was made fully with the 3ds in mind with having a 3d feature, the minigames for the dream eaters like the treasure goggles the entire feature of petting the dream eaters which other 3ds games had such petting feature as well people say the petting and caring for the dream eaters in the game annyoing when they probably didn't play the 3ds version of the game that is on a console that has multiple games such a feature like that 2 big examples of other 3ds games that do it are of course pokemon and fire emblem fates
  23. In my opinion the 3ds version of dream drop distance is the better version of the game compared to the remakes i hear a lot of reviewers online really trash kingdom hearts dream drop distance when i found the game a blast to play why all the hate? All because of "BALLOON" like seriously you know there are other abilities that are good too you know
  24. would 358/2 days gameplay be better if it used the command deck battle system?
