True! When I did my proud mode run I had max everything apart from final I believe and just saved my drive bar for the last obstacle.

That’s just the smart way to go about it tbh It pays to have the abilities in battle, especially on crit

I only recently started playing KH more seriously (compared to casual beginner/normal mode growing up), going for 100% completion, and I’m so happy I joined and get to hear such great tips! I’ve seen that video and I believe the best spot is in TWTNW at the start with all the heartless. That and Hollow Bastion.
