The article says Missing Link is aiming for a late 2024 release... I think that's all needs to be said for the accuracy of the article
-
Yeah, it's really frustrating While I don't know everything about game development, the fact that they were able to release Rebirth four years after Remake shows that they are capable of that type of cycle And sure, it's different dev teams but it strongly suggests that they're intentionally delaying everything else in order to throw everything at FF7
-
Wasn't he quite picky about making sure that nobody but Sora could actually wield the keyblade in that reveal trailer Like when Mario touches it it's an abstract flame and Kirby's copy ability is a light version
-
in the same sort of way that his Re:Mind model was more detailed

I feel like there's something of a meta reasoning behind having Sora look more FF-esque in Quadratum If he is ever to return to KH side of the world I'd be interested to see if his model if adjusted to show that change
-
I think from a narrative perspective as well, it doesn't entirely make sense for Sora to be able to use the same abilities in Quadratum, which I think will prevent drive forms being a thing?
-
I wish we knew more about this "Construct/Deconstruct" thing that got mentioned ages ago Or did I hallucinate that concept?
-
Yeah, I think the Tokyo team went to lots of different places
-
Not sure if it was just hearsay/rumours but wasn't there chat about the studio notes on the more up-to-date Disney worlds causing a lot of headaches
-
Perhaps a company wide move at Square Enix seen as FF7 transitioned over to UE5 as well?
-
We could expect that it was in development when it was announced so 3 years at least
-
It really could be the 25th anniversary before we hear anything again about KH4... https://tenor.com/view/pinocchio-dead-gif-4913197 https://tenor.com/view/pinocchio-dead-gif-4913197

https://tenor.com/view/stuck-in-the-past-but-living-for-now-gif-13886526589652441894 Really hoped they'd maybe learned something from the KH3 cycle but it doesn't look like it This begins to look like a "skipping a console generation" type of scenario now

Did they even have English VA during the beta test? I wouldn't have thought there would be that much spoken dialogue in the game tbh
