and like, they need to promot character growth, but not be directly responsible for it. so like, if you can skip a world, then it shouldn't impact the overall story negatively because you're missing key content. but at the same time, not skipping it will enhance the impact of said content

It upsets me, the lead up to this show. They start by giving a synopsis that sounds like shit. Then they release more info that also sounds bad. Then the 1st trailer drops and I'm still having misgivings about it. Now this one drops and it's like... idk, I actually see some amount of promise that wasn't there before imo. And I'm still not 100% sold on it, but it's like, why couldn't this be what they were telling us about and showing us from the beginning??
