When their Wayfinders are shown, they fall into darkness and we can catch a short glipmse of them circling around the Round Room(Where Nothing Gathers).  Then Ventus-Vanitas and Terra-Xehanort appear. Could this be a hint that Vanitas and Terra-Xehanort are two of the Seekers of Darkness? I'm not entirely sure about this, but I believe it seems possible. What do you guys think?

I think that clip was from the intro of 0.2. So, my guess is that it shows a recap of Birth By Sleep (like KH2 did for KH1 and COM), with Aqua losing her two friends and both of them becoming possessed at one point or another.

 

EDIT: With the 'situation' of the thrones in Where Nothing Gathers, I think it symbolises the creation of Organisation XIII while Aqua was in the Realm of Darkness

I was very confused for a moment as that's the same icon I use on most other social media (like Twitter). Aha. Also when I saw Terranort and Ventus-Vanitas I damn near exploded. Was such a brilliant trailer with so much to think about even if a lot are things we've already seen!

I actually think that there is a possibility that it might be hinting at Terra and Ventus becoming vessels for Master Xehanort.  I am not sure that it is, but it seems strange to me that this trailer would show their Wayfinders, with a trail of darkness coming from behind them, falling in front of Where Nothing Gathers, unless it was hinting at something.  Not to mention that it immediately followed with both Terra and Ventus in their possessed states.  So, yes, I think that this may be hinting toward something like that.

Yea, that is one way to interpret it, however, it is not out of the realm of possibilities for Ven-Vanitas to be a Seeker of Darkness. You see, Vanitas and Ventus could end up clashing in another Dive to the Heart ala Birth by Sleep once Ventus awakens again, and through that, Ven-Vanitas could be reformed again. And through that re-formation we battle Vanitas as a Seeker of Darkness.

 

From what I can see, I have a good feeling that one Guardian of Light will face one Seeker of Darkness with the exception of Xehanort and Sora. As we can see Aqua simultaneously chasing Ventus and Terra as Ven-Vanitas and Terranort.
