I have BBS finished and it really is the MGS3 of Kingdom Hearts. As howevers gonna look

 

at this spoiler tag must either be curious or know about Vanitas and that he looks like Sora. I have a fairly half-assed theory that there could be some connection between Vanitas and Sora and that this connection manifests as the Anti-Form.

Vanitas is an unversed,the antiform is a heartless,so I don't think there's a connection.

I was thinking that Vanitas' Darkness is in Sora's Heart and that his Darkness causes the Anti-Form, I also think it might be connected to Sora becoming a Heartless, in that Roxas existing and his appearance are related to Sora's connection with Ventus and when Roxas was created Sora might of developed more of a connection to Vanitas as a Heartless

Okay:

 

1. Vanitas is the extracted darkness, and is also half of Ventus' heart. Vanitas at this point was faceless.

 

2. After Master Xehanort created Vanitas, Ven went into a coma (he's prone to that).

 

3.MX took Ven to destiny islands, which was MX old home and was where he was going to keep Ven's body until he could re-combine it with Vanitas', as a heart of pure light and a heart of pure darkness fusing will create the X-Blade, the ultimate keyblade that can unlock kingdom hearts. MX wants to use KH's power to create a blanced world, half light, half darkness.

 

4. Upon visiting the islands, Ven's heart connected with Sora's, and allowed Ven to wake up by completing the broken part of his awakening. This connection leeched over into Vanitas, who was faceless up to that point, and gave him Sora's appearance, as Sora had connected to both halves of Ven's heart .

You've explained the connection Sora has with Vanitas and his Darkness that I've been talking about

wow are serious! The He looks like Sora from kh2 because Ventus is older and it is mostly him so he has his height. But he looks like Sora because he shared his heart. Thus he looks like that in kh2. if that made sense to anyone...and the black hair is probably connected to Xion????thoughts on that is where this thread should head too.
