WWE 2K15 is notably famous for its...stuff. But that's not the point. The point is, some characters were originally going to be in it, but were discarded at the last minute for unknown reasons. Let me make a list of them.

• Brodus Clay
• Camacho
• Curt Hawkins
• Drew McIntyre
• Jinder Mahal
• JTG
• Yoshi Tatstu
• & other "released talents", whatever that's supposed to even mean.

It's not really a mystery why they're not in the game if they were all fired in June i.e. four months before the game came out.

It was a mystery to me if I wasn't aware of it.

My point is that it's not surprising to be unaware of it because if you looked up when they got fired, you could have easily put the pieces together and thought "oh, they all got fired in June. WWE 2K15 come out in October. No wonder they weren't in the game."

Speaking of deleted wrestlers, these were much more obvious to me. & By that, I meant, I was able to find them via titantrons really easily. Here is a list.

There were 20 of them that were released. Some only made cameos. Some were only mentioned in commentary.

Again, most of these people were fired way before the game come out. Some of them were even in different companies or just absent for years on end.

 

Some of them could have counted as Legends, but it was obvious that the roster wasn't really Legend heavy from the get go.

Oh, one more thing, where were David Otunga, Kalisto, Sin Cara & Zack Ryder at the time?

Kalisto was barely in the company at the time as he teaming with Sin Cara down in NXT.

 

Otunga was restricted to this non-wrestling roles at that point.

 

Ryder was a jobber... so yeah, basically what he mostly is half the time.
