Bandai Namco and Level 5 have announced that Ni no Kuni 2 is being delayed to January 19, 2018. Here's the message from the Director of the game. I'm a little sad that the game is getting delayed. But oh well I'm not too bummed out about it becoming playinable next year. There are plenty of other games for me to play until then.

Eh, the delay is not that bad. Could have been much worse.
Hopefully the game is actually finished by then.

That is two days after my birthday, so birthday present maybe? :)

I never finished the first one. Navigating the landscape was just such a slog with all the random encounters. I've basically retired my PS3, so I'll give this one a miss anyway.

Yeah. Besides this is Level 5 we're talking about. They haven't done anything to disappoint fans so far.

That's not too bad of a delay from the original release date. Sad, but oh well. Frees up my wallet a little more for that time. Not to mention, January isn't too big a month for games usually so the game will probably perform better when it comes to sales.

Well RIP Ni No Kuni II in 2017.

At least they have a good reason.
