In Ven's story, when Ven and Eraqus fight, Eraqus remembers a conversation he had with MX.

Eraqus mentioned that "the precepts" did not want them to find out the information on the X-blade.

 

What are these "precepts"?

Do you think they'll be mentioned again in future games?

Well a precept is just a kind of rule, like a commandment, so i guess they were just to leave the subject be and naturally Xehanort went against these precepts. Probably nothing important.

I was thinking that there were precepts that the keybladers had to follow.

If that was so, maybe they would resurface in a later game because Sora would have to learn them. =/

That could be as well. Never know. Maybe in 3D he'll learn them.
