Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Aqua nodded a little and smiled. She was happy for that, since it meant a lot to her how much Terra cared. She cared about him too, and she wished she could have shown that more while he needed to be taken care of. She'd been dumb for ignoring him the way she did.

Terra smiled softly at Aqua for a moment before a large firework caught his attention. He turned his head and gazed at the fireworks, recalling that was why he brought Aqua out in the first place.

Aqua turned her head as well, her eyes darting over the various fireworks in the sky. There were so many colors lighting up the dark sky, and it was beautiful. She was glad Terra gave her this opportunity.

Terra ran his hand over Aqua's shoulder slightly, keeping his gaze on the fireworks. Their conversation was important, but...it was a bit cryptic. Were they a couple or not? This was driving him nuts, even though he didn't show it on the outside.

Aqua felt her skin tingle where Terra touched it, his fingers running over it lightly. She leaned into him a little more because of it, her head nearly finding his shoulder. She was blown away by this, by his sincerity and his kindness, and this surprise. It was all so wonderful.

Terra kept running his hand over Aqua's shoulder, able to tell that she liked it. They certainly were acting like a couple now, and if they didn't talk about it before the end of the night, he'd ask her at the very end if she wanted to make it official or not.

Aqua couldn't help but wonder what the rest of the night held in store for her and Terra. Were the fireworks all, or was there more? Of course, if this was it, she was perfectly okay with it. It was so sweet and amazing... She loved it.

Terra silently watched the fireworks, seeing that they were increasing in number now. Apparently this was the finale, not that he minded. This wasn't the only thing he had planned for the night anyway.

Aqua felt her eyes soften in awe, her sight darting to all of the lights in the sky. This was so great. If this weren't a date and Ventus was here, she knew he would have loved it. She did.

Terra saw the last chunk of fireworks go up, and then there was silence. He kept his eyes on the sky for a few more moments to see some smoke left over from the fireworks, but he had a feeling that was it. "Guess it's over," he said softly, looking over at Aqua.

Aqua smiled a little sadly, but also in adoration. "That was beautiful," she said, her gaze lingering on the space in the sky where the fireworks had been. Now there were only stars, but that wasn't such a bad sight itself.

Terra smiled softly, though he then caught another one out of the corner of his eye. He turned and looked out again, though his eyes widened in surprise when he saw a pink heart in the sky. This was the last of the fireworks.

"I didn't order that one," Terra mumbled in embarrassment, lifting his free hand and scratching his head a little as the heart faded away. Seriously, he hadn't said anything to Sora's friend about doing any romantic pictures in the sky.

Aqua smiled and looked to Terra as the heart faded away. "That's alright. It was sweet," she said, though she was curious as to what he was referring to when he said "ordered". Who else was in on this?

Terra looked over at Aqua, smiling faintly and seeing that she wasn't distraught by the heart. That was good. He nodded faintly, lowering his hand from his head.

Aqua kept her eyes locked on Terra's eyes in the dimness of the night, though she was close enough to him that she could see them quite clearly. "Are there any other surprises I should expect tonight?" she asked with a small smile.

"Actually yes," Terra said with a faint nod and a smile, starting to pull his arm back from around Aqua. "If you get back in your seat, I'll show you." It wouldn't be too far to paddle; they were close to the island where the next part of the surprise was set up.

"Okay," Aqua said with a small nod, smiling more at that. She was looking forward to this one as well, having always loved surprises. She moved away from Terra, getting back on her bench.

Terra carefully moved back to his bench, careful not to tip the boat. That would have been terrible. He reached for the paddles he laid down in the boat and then stuck them back in the ocean, glancing at their destination before he started paddling towards it.

Terra had no trouble paddling, though he did think that it was best for him to go back around the island to the dock so he could tie the boat. That was going to take a bit more time, but that was alright. He had a feeling neither of them would be hoping for the night to end quickly.

Aqua lowered her sight after a few minutes of rowing, her eyes finding the boy across from her. She tilted her head slightly as she looked at him, a light smile on her face. He was such a sincere person, and a big softy, whether he liked it or not. She happened to love it, finding Terra to be quite romantic.

By the time Aqua was looking at him, Terra was focused on getting them to the dock. He looked over his shoulder slightly and then past Aqua, moving the boat so that it was by the dock on the front of the play island. As soon as it was set in the shallower water, he stood up and grabbed the rope, tying it to a post.

Aqua was curious as to what Terra had in mind now, but she wouldn't voice it. She was going to find out soon enough, which only made her smile remain. She was looking forward to it.
