Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Once the boat was tied, Terra made sure that the paddles would stay put in the boat. He set a hand on the deck and grunted slightly as he easily got up onto it, though he didn't just stand there. He turned back to the boat, offering Aqua a hand.

Aqua carefully rose from her seat and grasped Terra's hand, looking up at him briefly before she lifted herself from the boat with his help. She set her feet on the dock after climbing up and stood up straight, her eyes finding Terra.

Terra nodded slightly, releasing Aqua's hand because it wasn't the right one for him to casually hold. He jerked his head forward and started walking, going down the stairs of the dock towards their destination.

The surprise was on the islet with the Papou tree, so Terra started towards the door of the shack. He walked in but kept a hand on it so it didn't slam against Aqua, staying in the lead since she didn't know where they were going.

Aqua was slightly confused, but she followed in Terra's footsteps wordlessly. She walked through the door of the shack, wondering what could possibly be waiting for her in the next few minutes.

Terra walked up the stairs and then out the door to the small area of land that led to the bridge. He silently started walking across it, a picnic basket sitting by the Papou tree with dinner for them to eat.

Terra stopped by the large tree, bending down and picking up the picnic basket. "Hope you're hungry," he said with a faint smile, showing Aqua the basket. It was dark, and so dinner was a while ago. He hoped she was at least a little hungry, even if their meal wasn't too special.

Aqua felt flattered at the sight of the picnic basket. How sweet... "I am," she said with a small nod and smile, looking up at the taller boy. She hadn't eaten much before the date due to her nerves, but she was quite hungry now.

"Okay," Terra said with a faint nod and a smile, setting down the basket on the ground again. He sat down as well, though he left room so Aqua could lean against the tree if she wanted to.

Aqua sat down next to Terra, near the tree. She was actually quite surprised with him. She had always thought he was a little inexperienced with things involving romance and love, but she was mistaken. He was impressing her, a lot.

Terra opened the picnic basket, though he didn't take anything out. He turned to look at Aqua, a shy smile on his face. "I hope you don't mind it's not exactly gourmet food," he said. It was basic picnic food, like sandwiches, chips, and cookies.

Aqua shook her head, humming slightly. Of course she didn't mind. This was the sweetest thing anyone had ever done for her, and the only date she had really been on. It didn't matter if it wasn't gourmet; she loved it all the same.

Terra pushed the basket towards her a little bit, being a gentleman. "You pick first," he said. "I'll take whatever you don't eat." He had different kinds of food in there, so Aqua could have what she wanted and then he'd settle for whatever was left.

Aqua reached into the basket and saw that there were sandwiches and chips and some cookies, and she smiled a little more as she chose one of the sandwiches and some chips. She then gently pushed the basket toward Terra, signifying that he could get his own food now.

Terra hummed slightly when Aqua gave him the basket back, and he reached in to grab the remaining sandwich. He also grabbed some chips, leaving the cookies for dessert.

Aqua started with the sandwich first, and she turned her head to look at Terra as she chewed. He was being so good to her, as he always had been. It was so obvious to her that her feelings weren't steering her wrong. Terra was the guy.

Terra started with his sandwich, though he felt Aqua's gaze on him. He turned his head and upon seeing her expression, he arched a brow. She was looking at him funny.

Aqua brought a hand to hover over her mouth as she started laughing, looking away a little bit. Terra caught her looking, but that was okay. It didn't really matter anymore, did it?

"What's so funny?" Terra asked with an arched brow, amusement coming through in his voice. She was probably laughing at something she thought up; Aqua often amused herself like that.

Terra knew it wasn't really "nothing", but he wouldn't pester Aqua. He still had to bring up the conversation of where they stood in their relationship, but he didn't know how to do it. He was calm and smooth on the outside, but he was still nervous on the inside. What if she didn't want a relationship?

Aqua looked back over at Terra and only smiled softly. "You have nothing to worry about," she said softly, patting Terra's leg with her free hand before beginning to eat again. She was amusing herself with her thoughts, which he surely knew about. But it was because he was cute, so he didn't need to worry.

Terra's arched eyebrow stayed raised, though he appreciated Aqua's affectionate touch. "What was I supposed to be worrying about?" he asked, though he had a feeling he knew what it was. Their relationship. Was she saying...she wanted to be with him? No, he was reading into this too much.
