Anything to do with Kingdom Hearts trailers, interviews, and announcements must be kept in the #kingdom-hearts channel. #memes and #fan-art are also spoiler channels. You're allowed to post memes and fan-art that is related to a trailer or announcement for Kingdom Hearts 3. "Spoilers" (in this case) refer to official information by Square Enix. We do not allow story/plot leaks (real or fake). Those will get you banned instantly.
3. Do not discuss piracy or Union X hacking/cheating. Discussion of this topic is strictly prohibited.
4. No NSFW material, shock content (e.g screamers), or any other material meant to scare/hurt someone.
5. No derogatory content (racism, sexism, etc).
6. Do not attempt to sell online accounts (Union X, PSN, etc).
7. No unnecessary self-promotion. Please read the message below this one for details.
8. Threats of any kind is a big NO. Do not threaten other users or threaten with self-harm. These cases will be reported to Discord's trust and safety team and in extreme cases, it may also be forwarded to law enforcement.
9. Do not joke or meme about recent or huge tragic events.
10. When you share your own art in the #fan-art channel. You also consent to having that art shared on our social media (see; twitter.com/KH13com) with proper credit.
11. You're allowed to share art from other artists in the #fan-art channel. But you must credit the original artist and provide a link to the original source. The safest way to do it is by sharing the original url and let Discord embed it. This is important so we don't accidentally share someone elses art on our social media without the approval or knowledge by the original artist.
If you absolutely have to share it but don't know the original artist or source. Just say it's from an "unknown artist"
12. Criticism must be constructive. We allow people to criticize games, movies, shows, etc. But to prevent it from getting too repetitive/spammy, we'd like you to elaborate whenever you express your views on a certain subject. Instead of repeating "this game sucked" over and over again. Please try to explain why you feel that way, and what you think could make it better.
This also goes the other way around. If you disagree with someones opinion, please explain why you disagree with them, instead of attacking them.

Our policy regarding self-promotion of videos, tweets, live streams, etc.
This is a slippery slope for most of us. Because it's hard to determine what is and what isn't classified as "unnecessary self-promotion" on a case-by-case basis. Therefore we've made a list of what is allowed and what isn't when it comes to self-promotion.
What kind of content do we allow people to share on this Discord?
- In terms of Youtube videos, we allow; News reporting, memes, discussions, analysis videos, music videos, speculations, and theories.
If your video falls into any of these categories, you may share it once in the appropriate channel.
- In terms of Tweets, we allow; Memes, discoveries, fan-art, and news reports.
But once again, these all have to be shared in their appropriate channels.
What kind of content do we explicitly not allow?
- We do not allow reaction videos. Unless they're from a known Youtuber or the video in question already has 10 000+ views.
Yes, we know this sounds really unfair to most. But reaction videos are extremely common. And require very little effort to make. And thus we cannot have 50+ people sharing the same kind of video every time there's a new trailer.
- Baseless advertising; E.G "subscribe to my channel for this and that type of content" or "follow me on Twitter and I'll follow you back". These kinds of promotions usually don't contribute to any conversation and can get really spammy and annoying. So please refrain from that.
- Discord server invites; We do not allow invite links to other servers. The reason being that we cannot control what is going on in those servers, and we don't want to jeopardize the safety of our members. Aside from that, they can also be annoying if they come out of nowhere. Server invites has to be kept in DM's, IF the receiving end approves of it.
- Unofficial merchandise; Ebay, Spreadshirt, Redbubble, etc is not allowed. You're allowed to share news or links to officially licensed merch (doesn't necessarily have to be Kingdom Hearts related). This follows the same policy about DM's as with the Discord invites.
If you have something you want to share and you're not sure if it's allowed, PLEASE tag or message a moderator before doing so. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Please note that in some cases, we might carry out a ban based on previously recorded behavior on other websites. If we feel like you might be at risk of making other members feel uncomfortable. Say if you have a known history of harassing other members of the community via DM's. We might still decide to ban you from the KH13 Discord server.
